Keith (owner of Salon KBS) has been doing my hair for 12 years now. I honestly cannot find anyone in the Richmond area, or the Northern Virginia/DC area, who can do hair as well as him and for a good price. I currently reside in Northern Virginia and I make the trip down to Richmond to get Keith to do my hair. I've gotten numerous styles from flexi rod sets on relaxed and natural hair, to coloring my hair numerous colors, from chestnut to blonde. I have had long relaxed hair to short natural hair, to long natural hair. He is the only person who will do a fantastic job on my hair consistently. He does a great job of making sure my hair is healthy. The only con is that sometimes there may be a long wait like any salon. However, there are ways around that. I normally go in really early on Saturday mornings (5 am sometimes 6 am) and I'm out within an hour to an hour and 30 minutes depending on if other people are there in the salon at that time. Even if you go later in the morning, anywhere from 7-11 am the wait isn't bad either. Certain weekdays are not as crowded as others as well and when I was younger and living in Richmond, I would see him on those days. Keith is also pretty flexibility and very accommodating to my schedule as well. I highly recommend him!
