Second time at this joint. First things first... Taylor is surgical with the scissors. If you're looking for someone that is a juggernaut with the clippers go to her because she kills it everytime. Walked in looking like a bag of smashed a**holes and walked out looking like a bag of benjis. Don't usually pull too many girls and had this absolute dime make the final attack heading approach toward ya boy. Dudes and dudettes go to this spot!! Stay Golden ‍

I just went here for the first time today and I have to say I was impressed! Faith did my hair and she did a FANTASTIC job! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she verbally repeated what I was looking for to verify she understood what I wanted. She asked about any allergies right away, which I appreciated. The scalp massage she did while washing my hair felt amazing. Some places feel very rushed when you are getting your hair done, but not here! Faith took her time and was meticulous with all of the layering. She was friendly and pleasant, but also could sense I'm introverted and didn't push me to converse a lot, which made me feel a lot more comfortable. The price was very reasonable compared to other salons. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be back!

I find the owner of the salon to be extremely condescending and confrontational. For the services I have done like anyone else, I spend a good amount of $$$ and I always have tipped very well as I know the hairstylists work hard for their money and I appreciate them, I could not do what they do! At 1 of the several appointments to the salon, when I did not care for the color of my hair and felt it was looking extremely brassy and orange, I was polite about it-I know things happen but at my next appointment when the same highlight service as before was offered, I was not only concerned about the brassiness again but was worried my hair was not heading in the direction to be the desired color that I wanted or even somewhat close, so when the owner was walking by and asked me how I was doing, I conversed with her briefly as I had before and simply asked her opinion. That was when her whole attitude towards me seemed to take a change. She was snotty and snappy. There I sat feeling like I shouldn't have asked her for advice on my own hair. It's a crappy feeling! Following that appointment, even though I felt somewhat uncomfortable, I went back. Figured no big deal right, maybe she was just having a day and it would pass. There was another issue following that where I had to call to cancel a same day appointment right when the salon opened for my appointment at 4 due to a family emergency with my child that was life threatening. I fully understand that a policy is a policy and didn't even mind paying the $25. It was the way that the message was sent. The rude, "I've got a salon to run." The confrontational manner of it when I had tried and would have rather discussed this matter over the phone with the owner rather than having her rudely try to talk to me when I was there for an appointment in front of people and trying to enjoy having my hair washed. Not to mention, I was double booked for this appointment and didn't even know it. Again, I overlooked and continued to go to the salon because I was trying to stick to 1 hair person for consistency. Ever since asking her opinion though, when I am there for an appointment now, it's just awkward. The owner seems to keep a watchful eye as if I have caused her some kind of problem or as if I have caused her some trouble, a totally different demeanor than she took on when I first met her. Recently, I ordered some hair extensions and had asked that I receive a phone call when they came in so that I could book to get them put in before leaving for a vacation. A couple of weeks had gone by and I hadn't heard from the salon. Being told they usually take a few days to come in, I gave them a call. Yes they were in, they had not reached out, and I was told I wouldn't be able to get in until mid July at best. I simply went to pick up the hair that I had already purchased and didn't think too much of it until when I was there, was just leaving, and the owner again seemed to be watching me like a Hawk, coming up to the front desk asking her front desk staff as I was leaving, "What's up." Acting like I was there to cause a problem. I don't feel I have done anything to warrant being treated as a "problem" and will choose not to return back to the salon due to the awkward nature after asking a question. I've given this time to pass thinking it's no big deal and it'll eventually fall off but it hasn't and only seems to be getting worse. I've never had an issue at any other salon I've gone to and will not be made to feel like I can't speak up about my own hair. Going to the salon is supposed to be a nice experience so I will take my business elsewhere where the owner is happy to answer questions and doesn't get offended and act as such.

Salon Cora has been in this location since 2020. Prior to coming here, I made a reservation online for a $28 shampoo and blowout with Maria. Upon arriving, I was greeted by staff and taken to my station to put down my belongings and put on a smock. The smock didn't have a logo on it. Then, I was taken to the washing station. My hair felt fresh and clean again. Prior to blowdrying my hair, Maria asked where I would like to part my hair. The appointment took about 40 minutes. Next time, I'll also schedule an Exfoliation Hair Mask Treatment with it.
