This is an updated review. Salon 62 gears toward an older audience, but they gave me a fine haircut for a good price.
FYI - don't book appointments online. I booked an appointment online a week ahead and got several text confirmations. Then, when we showed up, they had no appointment for us, and told us the online registration shouldn't be functioning. And, they could not fit us in. Very disappointing!
They took my temperature upon arrival of my appointment. The staff was friendly and inviting. I was definitely nervous coming into this haircut because it was a big life change haircut for me. My hairstylist made me feel confident about my decision. Definitely recommend the salon very professional.
I was nervous about getting a hair cut during COVID but the ladies here did a great job and made me feel comfortable. They took my temperature at the door, sprayed everything down and wore real masks appropriately. We had a great conversation the whole time and I loved the haircut I got. I'll definitely go here again.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Salon 62. Caitlin does my hair and I have to say that I am more than 100% happy every time I decide to get a new haircut or color with her. She makes sure that the outcome of my hair is exactly what I want and she does so by explaining the process and making every experience a fun one. In addition, the owner and all the employees here are super kind, respectful and just fun to talk to. The owner (I believe it's Jan?Mommy brain I'm sorry) is amazingly sweet! She cares about every single customer and is always so pleasant and supportive! As a person who is used to getting her hair done in Newbury Street to the suburbs of Boston this is comparable to the top-notch hair salons but more affordable costs with an added dash of love and care. Thanks you guys! Don't change :)
