Dellaria Salon in Acton, MA

I went to this location one year ago, and I was surprised when I was charged $65 for a simple haircut. One year later, due to my busy schedule, I decided to book with them again since I live nearby. I was thinking I would pay the same as the last time, but I was appalled when I was told my hair cut was $85 dollars. To make matters worse, they cut my hair two inches shorter than requested, and when I got home, my daughter told me there was a strand of hair longer than the rest on the back of my head. I didn't see it at the salon because the hairdresser did not show what my hair looked like in the back with a mirror, as they usually do. I had to trim it myself. Honestly, for 85 bucks, that is just UNACCEPTABLE. I work hard for my money. The price and service are just disappointing.

Dellaria in Acton recently did some lively renovations. Even before this, I've always had a positive experience while getting my hair done. My stylist Meg Poe is excellent. She's an amazing color stylist too. Many have raved about my hair which has resulted in them going to see her! Dellaria Dalon is efficient, clean and friendly.

My daughter is living at home while she finishes her graduate degree, and she needed to have her hair trimmed. She called for an appointment, and was told that a simple trim would cost $60, which seemed high to both of us. I told her to just go ahead and book an appointment, and I would pay for the trim. When she arrived at the salon, she was told that a different stylist would be cutting her hair, and her rate was $75. She tried to explain that she had been quoted a lower price, and eventually, the person she was speaking with offered her a $15 credit for her next cut at Dellaria. That is a credit we will never use, as none of us would step foot into this salon again. My daughter has very straight, long hair, and the stylist trimmed off one inch. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. I will tell anyone who asks about salons in Acton to be sure to avoid Dellaria.

I've gone to Dellaria for over 3 years and have always had a great experience and service. The front desk staff are pleasant and helpful. I've always seen Norberto who always knocks the color out of the park! He takes his time and never makes me feel like I'm a bother when I have questions or several photos to reference. Always a great experience.
