My Kenmore washer stopped agitating and was still under warrantee so I called Kenmore for service. They arranged for S&S Appliance to come take a look. Sean and his assistant arrived and began looking at my washer. He put it in diagnostic mode and set the washer to agitating and stated "it's working" as the machine made the same clicking noise that I called about. I stated I don't believe it is so he removed the top of the washer while in this mode and behold, it wasn't agitating. He also stated the lid had been removed previously. As I bought this new and never opened it myself, I was taken back by this statement and I simply stated no one has been inside it since it arrived at my home. He then indicated he needed to order parts and handed me his phone to sign the work order. It was a page with nothing more than a place to sign and small print verbiage that stated I was satisfied with the service and it was complete. I said I would not sign it based on that and he said "fuck it, I won't sign it either" and stormed out of my home. If you need service and they are the ones Kenmore wants to send, I suggest requesting someone else.
My rating would be ZERO! I am an 80 year old, single woman living alone who is retired after 46 years in education. Sean came to my home to repair my LG refrigerator. He diagnosed a bad compressor, filter, and circuit board. Sean told me the repair would cost $600 and he required a $300 deposit so I wrote out a check for that amount. The unit was still under warranty and he told me to contact LG to have the needed parts sent. I did that only to receive a call from Sean several days later that the information he received was in the wrong format. I would have to contact LG to send it again. I called again but more time was wasting away. It was clear that this was only delaying my repair. I was trying to live out of 2 coolers for over a week which was extremely difficult. I made the decision to buy a new refrigerator. When I spoke with Sean about that decision, I asked what refund I would receive. Sean assured me it would be $200. That was in late July. No refund was received and when I called him once again, he told me that there had been some confusion about whether I had paid by credit card or check. I assured him it was paid by check and asked him to refund that $200 ASAP. Even after several more calls, NO $200 were ever returned. I have called several more times to be told tat the check was cut but had not yet been mailed. I have left voice mail messages at both of the phone numbers I have for Sean or S&S Appliance. All of my messages and pleas for the refund have been ignored repeatedly over the past few months. This man and the company are liars, cheats, and quite honestly THIEVES!
Sean came out and told me my motor was shot and it was filled with water, I did not look over his shoulder. I had a bad feeling so I called another company and they came out two days later ran a cycle on my dishwasher two times it worked fine and has worked fine ever since. I called Sean and asked him to return the service call as I am on disability and all he did was yell and he told me how did you pay check or credit card? I said check he said he would refund the service call which was almost $100 with tax? That was 2 months ago he hasn't sent me a thing. I would never call him because he did not return my service call, there was nothing wrong with my dishwasher and the other company did not charge me one penny and the dishwasher has function perfectly for the past 2 months I do not recommend him because if you tell a man you're going to return something you should follow through. I would leave a zero if I could because that service call for coming out and telling me everything was broken and nothing was and then say I will make it right and return the money and I got nothing. Find someone that does what they say they're going to do because if you walk into five houses a day and charge five service calls you're making $100, 000. A year telling people get a new appliance. This is my opinion and I was very disappointed that he did not return my service call because I needed to live and the motor was not broken it's running as we speak.
