I'm won't go back to the same tech. Sloppy finish on fingers and toes! Filing wasn't even on the nail. One side is longer than the other. I told him I was leaving for vacation, but I guess he didn't care. Definitely disappointed.
I have an 80-something dad who HATES pedicures. He agrees to go with me when/if a nail digs into a nearby toe. So, his nails get long, and if you've ever seen your grandparent's nails, you know they're thick and hard. Salon after salon ignores me when I say, "Only trim the nails. If you do any more, I can't get him to come back." Invariably they can't resist adding scrub or hot towels or massage... and that insures I won't get him into a salon for 6 months or more. Unique is the first salon in 7 years that LISTENED. Liuh clipped, ground, snipped... she worked hard, but she only cut the nails - as requested. When we left, he actually said, "That was the best job anyone has ever done." Huzzah! You better believe we'll go back.
Was recommended by a friend to check this place out for a set of acrylics. I walked in and very pleased with the appearance of the salon. Everything was very clean and neat. Their prices are also very reasonable. My total was $32.40 after tax. I got 2 different colors, I did not go with a gel polish that would have been an extra $20. Alvy was technician and he did a fabulous job and was very friendly. Will totally go back when I want my nails done.
Review Update: I need to change this review to one star. Though my tech was great and nice. This pedicure has held up absolutely terribly. Mine normally last 4-6 weeks with no problems. Almost all of my polish has flaked off (cheap polish?). But worse than that, all of my nails themselves have started to peel and flake and break. Has resulted in some pretty severe hang nails and breakage. I've never had this problem before. Not sure if it's how she cut them or what they put on them or in the water. Will never return. Found this place on Yelp. My nail tech was great. Amazing pedicure for $3Incredibly meticulous and thorough. Also very sweet. Will definitely be returning.
First time ever getting my nails at this location & I had an amazing experience! I got a full set with shellac. Normally a lot of nail salons don't honor the length of nail that I want. This is the first salon that has given me the length I've asked for! Thomas did an amazing job and was very detail oriented with my nails. I will be coming back for sure! I wish they had a larger shellac nail color selection, but overall a very nice place.
