Rue 48 is such a great salon! The quality is amazing every time I come here. I go to Hannah and she is so fun and talented. I started to go to her when I was blonde and getting foils and cuts but now I have more of a natural brunette look. She can do it all! Also Ellie at the front desk is so friendly and sweet! She makes me feel special every time I come in! Would definitely recommend!
This is the first place I have gotten my hair properly done and was recommended to me by a friend who has been going there for a few years. Rue48 has a chill vibe and friendly staff. I worked with JP and overall I was very pleased with the results and how thorough my consult was. I've already scheduled my next appointment.
HAVE A BACKUP PLAN. I decided to take a chance on a new salon close to my home and booked a haircut WITH THE OWNER Susan, before going out of town. I received a call 1.5 hours before my appointment early on a Saturday with the message that "Susan isn't coming in today" and no further explanation. I asked for ANYONE at any of their locations who could step in and honor the appointment and was only offered appointments within the workday in following weeks. I work a very full schedule which is I why I booked on the weekend. The owner canceled last minute, offered no explanation and didn't make it a priority to reschedule. I won't be going back because I don't trust their ability to be professional and prioritize my time as they would prioritize their own. Beware.
I absolutely LOVED my time here last Friday! Mariah LC was one the thee best stylists I've ever had. Seriously. She listened and carefully explained what she would do to fulfill my requests. I have never had soooo many compliments on my hair. NEVER. I feel like my confidence has been pushed to the max!!
So disappointed. I cannot review on what my new hair color would of looked like since thanks to their new computer system my appointment was completely dropped. To be fair, they offered to squeeze me in. Not sure that's fair for the person already paying for the time slot and I don't want to be squeezed in and live with what happens. I want to pay for my time and have the focus on getting the hair color that looks best on me. My advice is call before you take the afternoon off from work and drive to the salon.
