I have gone to TJ Hair Studio several times with my husband, mainly for haircuts but he also got a perm the last time we were there. We have been happy with all the services we have received. The owner really knows hair. I have thinning fine hair (not unusual for an older white guy) while my husband has dense thick hair (he is Filipino), and she cuts both equally well. We were both impressed with the quality of the products used for the perm, there was almost no ammonia smell. The owner is the only employee so there is no issue with who is going to do your hair. Even though this is a one person shop we seldom have had a problem getting in when we wanted, often the same day that we call for an appointment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop.
TJ has amazing skill and did an awesome job with my hair cut! this was my first time having her as my hairdresser, and i asked for a simple 3-inch trim and some layers. she went above and beyond! the experience was pleasant and super quick (only 30 minutes!). she was prompt and we began our appointment on time. the trim was $33. the studio is open everyday except sundays. overall rating: 10/10
i have been coming to tj to get my hair done since i was 14 years old and not once has this woman failed me. extremely skilled and experienced with asian hair and always does extremely good and natural face framing. she deserves everything!!
TJ had a nice, clean studio, with a calming atmosphere. She was very nice, and took time to understand my individual hair. She was also very nice to my girlfriend, who was just accompanying me to the haircut and perm. She handled multiple clients at once, but made sure to take proper care of each one. I will be sure to come back!
We scheduled 3:30pm today. And she sent me message to reschedule to 2:30pm and changed the time back to 3:30pm just few mins later. After we double checked the time of 3:30pm, she sent me another message to change time to 4:00pm when I was on highway driving. When I got there, she has two more customers waiting there already. She is so unreliable to schedule time and waste customers time.
