I loved this salon!! They were so friendly when I came in and I got service right away. I will be going to them every time now!!
I go here a lot. I usually am happy with the result. This last time was kind of an unfortunate experience that will deter me from going again. I walked in for an appt and sat down with one person before moving on to another person that didn't ask me any questions about what I wanted. If she had let me clarify that I didn't need that much length, my appt probably wouldn't have needed to take 90 mins for a fill. She made the square very wide on the sides coming out, the pictures are taken after I filed down the sides myself. A week later, the nails started falling off. When I went back to get one finger fixed, she made me feel bad about not wanting to pay $50 for a whole new set and seemed like she was really annoyed to have to redo my one nail. Very sad, I really liked going here but I don't like being passed around like chopped liver and not having my needs listened to or met.
I always see Wynnie at Golden Nails and she does such a great job. My gel manicures will last me 4 weeks and I always get complimented on them. My only complaint with Golden Nails is they don't generally keep track of appointments, so even if you make one you may have to wait. Otherwise I've had a great experience here.
I came in for a gel manicure and while it was cheap, it was not what I expected. I called in advance and was told they don't take reservations. When I arrived I waited about 15 minutes to be sat. I was then seated at a short chair right next to someone else getting their service done so I could rotate in as soon as it finished. The color I picked (confirmed the correct number) was extremely different from the color swatch. The service felt very rushed. This is not the place to go if you want a relaxing service. It was loud, dusty, and crammed together. My polish came out uneven and was applied very thick. I will not be returning
I have been going here for years, and will keep coming back to Mike! He does such a good job and goes above and beyond for customers.
