Renditions: A Salon in St. Louis, MO

Great customer service.  Impressed that the owner Ren, was able to squeeze my husband in for a Military cut on last minute notice.  He did a great cut on my husband.  

Jen P. does a great job with cut and color.  She listens to the customer and will be honest on what is needed to establish that style.  Jen also does a great job with men's cuts, she had to fix one of the times Great Clips messed up my husband's hair.  Note: my husband had a few bad cuts (blending issues) at Great Clips and officially switched to Renditions.  

*Quality cut & color for a reasonable price is awesome!    I would recommend this salon  (Jen and Ren have been great.)

*Jen did a great job getting my hair the color I wanted for the wedding (very honest, took it in stages.)
*This salon can fix a bad haircut from another salon.

I only had a pedicure and manicure here, but the staff was very friendly. If you are looking for the big time mani/pedi, it really doesn't exist. This means, they cut, file, and polish. Thats it! They really don't go into it the way other salons do. If you want the different scrubs or have dead skin removed from your feet, you will have to go somewhere else. The lady that worked there said the pedicure is more of a relaxing thing.

Before I dive into this brief review, I wanted to set the mood first.

You're on a mission to kill your craving for Subway when you happen upon a dark building with tented windows. I nearly orgasm thinking it's a bar, when in reality it's a hair salon.

I needed to find a closer salon, so I open the door and sneak a peak. This place was crowded! It's noon on a week day and there are people of all ages (yes, even those little people that run around while their parents ignore them). Some of you might not like the fact that it's crowded, but it made me think this must be a popular place with a good reputation.

The owner of the salon greeted me personally and was very kind. He knew most of the clients there by name (a plus in my little book). And yes, I said HE, which for some reason makes me like it even more. Some women are such biatches, so call me sexist against my own vagina.

Anyway, they do everything from pedicures, manicures, waxing, and all the hair stuff salons say they do. They also have a fireplace, which is neato. I'm not sure if it works, but it is 100 degrees outside.

Oh, they are also CHEAP compared to most salons (and I don't mean compared to Great Clips or the ones in Walmart). Right now you can get a pedi for only $22 if you're new! That really pulled at my cheap-o strings, so I caved.

- Nice owner, who doesn't seem like an owner

- Subway located nextdoor
- This review wasn't so brief
