If your last in the salon for the day, you are treated LAST. Do not enter this establishment a couple hours before closing. Assuming they wouldn't be busy on a Wednesday after Memorial Day and I had a 5:15 appt. I waited for 45 minutes to get a pedicure. My appt was for a pedi and next gen replacement. I still did not receive good service as they were understaffed even for appointments. The "manager" even had me soak in toxic acetone for 30 minutes while he closed shop (emptying trash, tallying receipts, etc). While my previous nails melted to the point of swelling my fingertips. He didn't understand my frustration. First, this is a toxic chemical I am breathing and two, why are my nails in the warm bag for so long? The pedicure was fine but I had him easily remove (because of the toxic bath) the nails, paid for my pedicure and left. This place was recommended by my new husband but that will be my last. Definitely a place where if you aren't first, you're LAST.
Thanks for ruining my spa day with all your nickel & dime upcharges. I wandered in here because I shopped at the Neighborhood Walmart next door. Asked for the basic pedicure. Then mid pedicure the tech asks if I want my callouses removed. I'm like sure, of course.... "That's $5 more" Fine, I tell her, but it's included at every other shop in town. Then she said if I don't get gel polish, (an extra $15) she has to charge $5 more for removing the gel polish I had remaining on my toes when I came in. Her English was limited so I never could get her to explain why I never got the peppermint scrub exfoliation which is listed on the basic pedicure. She tried to tell me that since the pandemic they're paying more for supplies so they started charging more. And I understand inflation but people need to be told in advance - I it's jolting to get sticker shock after you started getting serviced!
Horrible! I had not come in 2 years because the last time I did the older lady had polish all over my toes and the manager was like he didn't care. So me and my daughter thought we would try it again. BIG MISTAKE!!!! 1st no one was in there. That should have been a sign then I ask for regular pedicure but the guy was trying to upset me. Then he barely took off the gook around my cuticles and barely touched my toes. Then the kicker was when he pulled out this old brush to do my heels instead of the metal long callous remover with the handle that really slips that stuff off. I have one at the house. He then proceeded to tell me that it would be $5.00 more. I was floored and told him that all the nail shops use them for regular pedicures and I have never paid more for them to use it. The manager came over and proceeded to tell me the same and both me and my daughter said we have never heard that. I told him that even in this shop years ago they didn't do that. They still didn't please the customer by doing my heels and I couldn't believe it. I let him know after they finished that I was not tipping and I would let everyone know of how bad there service is an how they are not doing the job they used to but wanting more money for it. I will never be back. Theses places are a dime a dozen!
i'm getting a nail repair and this man said idc which pink it is just pick a color .. fucking rude !
