Firstly, I should advise they were recommended to me by an amazing volunteer at my favorite pet shelter. Her name is Christina. Knowing Christina is as picky as I am, I knew I would be in good hands based on what she told me. I started going as a regular client a few years ago and I never actually thought about doing a yelp review until recently -I'm not sure why and for that I apologize to them. The atmosphere when you walk in is always welcoming, they are always in tune with what is being told to them and will work with you to get that look you want. For me, i feel like their my hair guardian angels. I would happily recommend them to everyone. Pro tip: taking pictures of what you want if you're a new client is a great idea. A visual always helps. A lot of people who are not educated stylists may try to use certain terminology that means something different than you actually think it does. Help yourself with the pics helps the stylist know what you want.
Read the Yelp reviews before making an appointment. Rick cut my hair exactly as I requested and did a fabulous job. Didn't try to push products on me. Just a super nice guy who is extremely talented. Highly recommend Rick and his partner Ron.
I felt a little judged and uncomfortable while I was there. I walked because I'm poor and don't own a car, they made mention of it. Weird to me that someone would be concerned as to how I traveled to your place of business as long as I'm polite and paying. The longer haired gentleman cutting my hair acted awkwardly for the duration of my visit. I wasn't happy with my haircut nor the atmosphere of the salon.
My wife went to R&R after a bad experience at another hair salon. Ron listened to what she wanted, gave suggestions based on her hair and lifestyle. The style came out great. She has found the hair salon she has been looking for. Highly recommend this salon.
