The Salon in Jeffersonville, IN

Bought gift cards for my girlfriend and daughter. Called them they never answered or even open at appropriate time bad customer service.  Couldn't get a reimbursement.

No one answer the phone and they don't return calls and been trying to use a gift certificate I received for Christmas for the last two months

I showed up 15 minutes early to The Salon unsure of traffic. The place was completely empty. Both front doors were locked. I knocked and banged while waiting around 15 minutes. I called several times and no answer. I sent an email and no response. I left at 5:02 (my appointment was at 5:00) and called one last time to leave a voicemail. Someone called me back at 5:07. At this point I was across the bridge stopped on 64 in traffic. I told her I was not coming back and was stuck in traffic. I couldn't turn around on 64. She told me she was at lunch and was back at the salon. A note on the front door would've been helpful. After hanging up she immediately charged my account $30 for cancelling. After reading many reviews I'm not the first person this has happened to. I do not recommend this place.

My fiancee found a Groupon for this salon that stated in the title for "TWO WOMEN'S CUTS, SHAMPOOS, CONDITIONING TREATMENTS, AND STYLES". He purchased this voucher as a gift for me and my sister to do together. After he made the appointments, he was told that the voucher was only good for one person. It does not say on the voucher that it cannot be split and clearly states in the title that it is for two not one. The salon is refusing to honor it now. And I cannot express how disappointed and angry we both are since this was meant as a birthday gift which is now ruined thanks to someone's stupidity. This review will also go up on Google and Facebook so the word can be put out to as many people as possible not to trust this voucher because it is a lie. And honestly I don't think that they deserve the one star rating but I had to put one up to be able to post my review

Icky and not relaxing: the opposite of how you should feel in a salon :(.

It's hard to argue with a (groupon) pedicure for $14 (!), but this place is pretty disgusting. So sad because it has a really cool history and location--an old train station from the 1800s!--but you wouldn't know it from looking at it. Only reason I know is because I asked a billion questions to the owner to distract me from the experience. There is so much potential; wish they would do more!

My experience: You enter in a back, dusty door and there's a handwritten sign telling you to go upstairs. No one greets. Looks like they are undergoing a renovation downstairs, but the upstairs was also dusty and gross. The old, dirty pedicure stations made me almost vomit, but I was leaving in an hour for vacation and was in desperate need of a pedicure (that I already paid for). I had no choice but to stay. I was frustrated because the Groupon said it came with a heel treatment, but when I got there, she said that was extra. Also, she gave me the nail swatches to chose the color, but told me that half of them, they no longer carried. Seemed a little unprofessional to me. During the pedicure, I could not look at the water basin because there was dirt and grime along the sides of the bowl. However, I WILL SAY: two weeks later, my toesies still look great. I just can't go through that again.

Final tip if you go: be careful when going down the stairs to leave. There is a low-hanging ceiling/wall. There was no sign or warning. Whether from their negligence or my stupidity, I hit my head on pretty hard LOL.  I will say it gave my husband a pretty good laugh though.
