**I am an out towner on an extended stay**

My regular nail salon  I go to happens to be on the Thanksgiving holiday.  I was in this area and decided to get them a try.

I normally get the same thing, lavender no chip pedicure along with a manicure and S.N.S. The reason I do this is because these nail salons do not manicure your hands before the dip.

1. The man started with my pedicure, I do not like that drill to remove the polish.  I like for my feet to soak and for them to file off the polish.  This is less abrasive on my feet.  However, he started with the drill, so I let him continue.  However, I noticed he was rough with the cuticle cutter, and he didn't get the hang nail out of my big toes. Also, the cuticle remover was water completely down (I asked him abt that but he pretended he didn't understand what I was saying.) I also told him I wanted a design, and he had to ask the "boss" about that.  The design he put on my toe was straight lines (no thought process at all).  He then used red and white (I'm not patriotic, I'm like, you could have used yellow, black, and/or silver to bring out the color blue).  I disgress.

2. I noticed that they used a nail file and cuticle cutter that was not taken out of a pre sterilized bag.  I immediately told him to put alcohol on my feet. (Keep in mind people coming to these shops with fungus on their feet.)  Everything MUST be sterilized.

3. My manicure hurt because he was rough with that cuticle cutter.  I had to tell him twice that I'm a lady, please don't be rough.

4. He was rushing through my SNS, and it did not cover the cuticle or completely at the top.  He also didn't clean under my nails.

5. I went on November 25, 2023, and by November 27, 2023, the no chip is peeling on both hands and feet.

6. This place is way pricer than the other salons.  I paid $135 and still left a cash tip. This is unacceptable and unbelievable.

SOLUTION:
1. If you are going to charge NY prices (lol), I need your nail technicians to be top tier.

2. Please use professional products and stop watering down the products.

3. Ensure all equipment is sterilized.

Once I was happy, now I'm not! When I first started going here maybe a yr ago, I loved it!! During my visits, I never had the same person, but they were all good. Now it is totally different. Once I had a young lady, I was telling her how I wanted the french tip. It caused her such an issue that she got up... hollering, and someone else finished my nails. Her attitude was terrible. Then i had not gone back for some time. I decided to go and try it one last time. I got a simple manicure with a gel polish for one....$50 steep. When I got home and started looking more and more at my nail... I am so disappointed. The final results I could've done myself. Well, that's it for me. No more chances. The relative that referred me no longer goes there, and a relative that I had referred after 3 bad experiences won't return either. It's such a shame. Great location, and the inside is gorgeous.

this place is horrible. Do not waste your money. I got my nails done three days ago. When I left the salon, they look like they already needed a fill. There was do much room between the cuticle and where the nail started. They were painted poorly I had chunks of dried gel under some of my nails. Fast forward to 3 days later and they look like they're half grown out. Do not waste your money or time going to the salon choose a better one.

Came here because it's close. Only one person here speaks English so very hard to communicate. The male who was giving me a pedicure had long fingernails which he was digging into my skin when paining my toes. He also did a very poor job at removing my calluses. For my manicure I specifically said not to cut my nails, but with the language barrier he did anyway. After he was done painting my fingernails there was paint on my hands and fingers. When I asked him to remove it he started filing it off my skin!!! Do not recommend and will not be back!

The place is very pretty & clean. The language gap makes it difficult though. I wanted a pedicure. They directed me to pick a color. No idea I picked a gel color. I had to tell him several times no gel. I wanted the same color though. He said no. He gave me 2 sets to pick from. I picked one. Then I got a completely different color again. I didn't feel like making it difficult, so I was ok with it. He did a great job shaping my nails. Massage was ok. The chair massage was great.
