The Nines Hairspa in Schererville, IN

The shop is attractive and well arranged. Staff is very friendly and polite. I got a fabulous hair cut and the stylist was upbeat, outgoing and very professional.

The only place that can give a great man's haircut. When I occasionally have to go to a chain hair salon at a last minute's notice or if I'm out of town,  I always seem to pay the price.

I have been driving all the way from Naperville for over 2 years to come to The Nines because it is that good! Before The Nines, I had tried many of the high-end downtown Chicago salons with no luck.

My hair has never looked & felt better! It is the healthiest it has ever been because of the great products they carry, too, like Kerastase and Oribe.

If you want to look great and have the best hair, you need to come to The Nines!

I love this salon!!  Great cut and color, every time!  First class service - they listen to my concerns about my hair and recommend different options to make me look my very best.   I've worked with several stylists at The Nines and all were wonderful.  I always look forward to going back!

This is my very first review on yelp. I am giving the nines salon one star. Only because the woman who did my makeup was so very nice. I had my makeup done for my daughter's wedding on June 3rd. Two days after, I noticed one of my eyelids looked infected. I was seen by my optometrist and given an antibiotic . Within 3 days my eye lid was swollen twice its size and I had purulent drainage. At this point I made an appointment with my family doctor who prescribed more antibiotics and prednisone. After this round of treatment my eye was less swollen but still draining purulent drainage. I went back to my doctor and was given a third antibiotic. After 10 days of treatment, no improvement. I was told that I needed to see an ophthalmologist. Today I stopped into The Nines and told my story to the owner of the shop. She proceeded to tell me it couldn't possibly be their fault. She told me that in her opinion it looked like I had conjunctivitis or maybe a sty. Wow! She is not only a hairdresser but also able to practice medicine! She was not sorry at all and wouldn't take responsibility for anything. She did ask what I was looking for... What about a refund or pay for my many Dr co- payments. To this she replied that she wouldn't do that because you know in your heart of hearts we can't! We don't know if we are responsible! The least she could have done was offer an apology and give me my money back for the services... But instead, all she offered to do was call the makeup rep... Again blaming someone else! I would really think twice about visiting this salon. I have been a nurse for 37 years and if I treated people like this I would not have had a job for very long. Shame on you Nines Salon! Customer service and integrity obviously don't exist at The Nines.
