well.. i got my nails done here and linda cut my fingers several times and then put nail glue on the cut. im not satisfied with my nails at all it's not what i asked for, the size of my nails are all different sizes
So Disappointed!! :( I intended on getting a mani/pedi but just got the pedi because I was unhappy with the work. He didn't cut my cuticle skin or file my toe nails. The finished look was not smooth. He used what is basically a cheese grater on my feet and they felt raw. I don't think they are supposed to use those anymore. They do not use a freshly open packet of tools or pumice. So gross! I will not be coming back here. For what they charge they could/should have done a better job. The search for a good nail salon continues.
I have gone to Q Nails for pedicures for several years simply because of the location convenience. It has never been a great experience. They used to have children running around, watching cartoons on loud volume while the pedicurists were loudly telling them to do this or that. Now, the children aren't there as much but the television is still on loud volume and broadcasting "Ellen" or "Dr. Phil" or "Wheel of Fortune." To make matters worse, the pedicurists turn around and watch the television for periods while they are supposed to be attending to clients. I STILL would go because of the convenient location. However, the last visit was the last straw and I won't go back. The manager (male) did my pedicure. He was distracted by the television several times and fiddled around with my big toe seemingly correcting the polish. I didn't pay much attention to it until I got home and put on my glasses. The polish was all smudged and all the toenails jagged (in hindsight, I don't recall him even filing the nails).
I was having a grand 'ole time getting my nails done & when I was done I was waiting on a friend to get their toes done when I was texting my friends in a group message. I had said something funny and of course I kinda let out a little laugh. One of the nail technicians decided to say "haha" in the most sarcastic tone ever. Even after a customer has paid you need to treat them as if they haven't. Thanks for listening to my ted talk.
This salon totally messed up my nails. First of all, I have been getting dip powder nails. Finally my nails have started growing due to NOT using gel polish!!When I went in I ask for the dip powder & she said they did that process. The lady that did my nails went & got my color in the gel polish. I then ask her if they had the POWDER & she said yes. I waited to see when she was going to get it & she proceeded to prep my nails then dip my nails into a plain white powder & polished them with the colored gel. This is NOT how dip powder is applied!!! Dip powder is the color that you choose NOT WHITE! It is NOT cured with UV lights & she used UV lights to dry my nails. Powder is much better for your nails and now my nails are so soft I'm afraid they are all going to break again. I guess this place does not know this process & does whatever they want. Also the color on the sample was not the color of the actual polish. Just beware!
