Paradise Salon in St. Louis, MO

Heyyy ladies and gents
So this is a place that I'd visited "quite" often because of the prices. Now, when I tell you I have never had a good experience with this place, TRUST ME!
The "so-called" stylists are very rude and disrespectful. The owner Maurice is the worst of all. He has no "not even a little" respect for women and children. He has a potty mouth! He neverminds the fact that children are listening and watching. The "so-called" stylists doesn't have a care in the world. The restroom smells like the project hallways! "If, you know what I mean". It "literally" smells like they've sprayed it with some strong ass piss. I'm just saying!
No vending machines for drinks or snacks and they have the audacity to talk to you and look at you, any kind of way.The only thang they're really good at, is making you wait "while they leave the shop to run around" anywhere from an hour to 2 hours, as if, it's a privilige to have them do your hair.
They have the nerves to give you the run arounds about who's gonna do your hair, as if, you don't have a right to know. They have a problem with folk asking questions aloud about prices, how many ppl are ahead of you, etc. SMH...This place is ridiculous! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.The one star is for the price.

Last week I went to Paradise Salon to get my hair colored white blonde. I was told the stylist (Kee-Kee) who did my hair was the best. Well this was certainly not one of her good days.  And I just had to be the next customer. Never have I experienced anything like this or at this salon before. The stylist did not do as I requested. After being quoted a price of $55.00 on the phone for color and a natural hair style (twist out) I ended up paying $80.00 for a hair color that's not even as it turned out to be a light yellow blonde color. Kee-Kee  didn't get the edge of my hair so that's a different color as well. When I expressed that I didn't like my hair and I look like an old lady, the stylist only  gave me several unacceptable excuses for my hair being the color it is and wanted me to pay an additional $35.00 to take my hair up one more step to reach my desired color that I was initially paying her to do in the beginning. Not to mention how she was extremely rough on my head as she pulled and combed my hair. As she flat ironed my hair she didn't skip a beat without burning me the entire time and told me that it was burning because of the hot oil treatment she gave me. I refused to pay her another penny as she didn't take any responsibility for her actions. I spoke to the owner (Maurice) who told me to talk with the stylist about it. Nothing was resolved so I decided that I would never go back again!  When friends ask me about my hair I remove the wig in public and show them my $80.00 professional hair color &  the old lady hair style she gave me. I get the same response as each of them drop their mouth wide open in shock and state I'd get my so-n- so money back! Something's wrong when you go into a beauty shop wearing a wig n you're back in it right afterwards.

All the sylist in the shop can do some hair. Diane and Javon especially. The salon is sheek and custom. The people their are awesome, Check them out. They are located right on Washington near al the restaurants. NO way you're getting hungry. Lol
