This was a terrible experience. I wanted natural looking makeup done, I showed pictures of, for professional photos I was having taken. The outcome looked nothing like the pictures I showed and I ended up taking all the make up off when I got home and doing my own make up. After about 30 minutes with the makeup on, my face started to itch. The stylist also attempted to do a hairstyle I asked for but then told me my hair was too fine, So the simple half updo with braid that I wanted turned into loose curls with my hair down. I absolutely do not recommend the salon for hair or makeup.
I purchased a Groupon for a hair service based on the MANY positive reviews for Neelo and NZL Hair and Makeup Salon. The "orginal" plan was for highlights, cut and style, but due to some previous treatments, etc. Neelo suggested we actually do a color correction on my hair to get it back to my natural color (with some highlights). She really did a GREAT job with the color. I am looking forward to seeing how it looks in a few weeks, but the color is very nice and it is no longer obvious where the growth has occurred. As for the cut, it was quick and just OK. No complaints, but I think more time could have been spent on it. I will say Neelo was VERY cooperative and helpful with ideas and options.

It was perfect. The foundation was light and stayed on all day - early afternoon to late night. My eyes popped and the eyeshadow was very pretty - pinks and blue. If you need makeup application for any occasion, I recommend NZL Makeup Salon. You will be very pleased.
