Tres & Co. Hair Spa in Raleigh, NC

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Christy has been doing my hair for over fifteen years, and I literally get stopped by random strangers in public with compliments, especially on the color.

A great tip: Take some pictures with you of what you're looking for. But, don't expect miracles. Be practical and honest about what kind of time and energy you'll have for styling your hair yourself. Don't use crappy products and then expect salon-quality results. The stylists here are geniuses, but not magicians!

There's a reason I drive all the way here from Northern Wake Forest every six weeks. I don't trust anyone else to be the artist Christy is!

When I first moved to Raleigh my girlfriend recommended Christy. I have naturally darker hair but came to her as a blonde.  I think every time I had an appointment, I would show her pictures of a different color and she was always patient and got my hair color pretty damn close to the pictures I would show her.  She has been doing my hair for about 2 years now.  She just did my color and it is perfect.  I will attach the photos.  It is spot on with the picture I showed her.  I highly recommend Christy Eady and I love going to Tres Hair Spa!

I absolutely love going to Tres Hair Spa! Christy is simply the best! She is talented, creative and so fun!

I went to Christy and she did not give me the blonde I asked for and showed her pics of. She assured me that she could get me to that blonde in that visit. She also charged me for something she never told me about. She never asked me if I wanted it. I was surprised to see it on the bill. Later when I told her I was disappointed, she repeated things back to me that I never said to her like "you said you wanted golden hair". I've never ever wanted golden hair. Ever. I tell any stylist I see  that I don't want gold. I had two stylist's in California. One for cuts and one for color and they were amazing. These two stylists also blow dried my hair for no extra charge. The experience with those stylists was nothing like this experience. I felt scolded by Christy when it was all said and done. The more we talked about this, the worse it got, even though I told her I wasn't angry. I just wanted my hair fixed. So now I'm out a lot of hard earned money.

So I see that Christy called someone named Belinda, Ryan and Mallory to leave her a 5 star review. It's interesting because I told Christy that I was going to have to leave a review since she decided not to fix my hair, saying we aren't on the same page. Huh??
And by the way, this salon had NO reviews  until late tonight. So she solicited reviews which is against Yelp policy.
The comment by Stacy regarding my review is incorrect. I just had my hair done Tuesday and there weren't several attempts. To have the blame placed on me and to be charged without informing me of additional services feels sneaky and wrong. I'd really like to think Christy didn't do that on purpose but I was blamed for not automatically knowing. And of course you're going to I defend your co-worker. And it's very late here, you've already talked to these customers this late tonight to find out they're upset?.
