This was my first time visiting this salon. It was recommended to me by a couple of my friends.
I called a week in advance and asked to make an appointment. They confirmed the date and time and said okay. I sent a follow up email to the email listed on their website just to make sure everything was still set but the email bounced back as undeliverable.
In any event, I went in on the date and time that I made the reservation. It had a good bit of people in there. I told the lady I was there for my 5 PM mani pedi appointment. She never asked my name or checked a book so that was my confirmation that my reservation was never made.
Despite not having an actual reservation confirmed, they were able to get me in the back rather quickly. Tina (sp?) did a good job doing my pedicure and manicure. She didn't speak very much but she smiled often and made me feel comfortable. Everything was going well and I was pleased.
Before doing my manicure, she asked if I wanted to go ahead and pay before doing my nails. I agreed as it was a good suggestion so I don't have to mess up my nails trying to get my card out of my purse etc. I didn't mind doing that because my experience was going great thus far.
My mani pedi were finished and I did not get a gel set so I sat with my feet and hands under a dryer for about 15 - 20 minutes. Once my nails were dried, I realized that there were a couple issues with one of the nails on one hand and there was missing polish on one area of a nail on the other hand. I had someone get Tina from in the back for me so I could let her know those needed to be fixed.
That's when my experience changed a bit. She appeared to not be pleased that I asked her to fix the two nails that had issues. Not only did she seem annoyed, but she removed the nail polish and tried to just have one coating on there which was not how she did all of the rest of my nails. I told her that they needed to be like how the others were done. She was agitated and did it as quickly as she could and just walked off.
I am not sure what that was about but that was definitely a different vibe from my earlier experience before realizing there was an issue with the polishing.
if i could give this place 0 stars i would.. nobody acknowledged me when i walked it.. everyone was on the phone, got my eyebrows done.. rushed, doesn't even look like i got my eyebrows done. i went to pay, the man was on the phone didn't tell me my total.. i held my card out, he said "no cash?" i said no, clearly not.. snatched card from me.. i will NEVER give them any of my money again
The WORST SALON EVER ! Got my nails done on a Thursday. I told them that they were too thin!! And my nails were crooked ! They still didnt want to listen went back Saturday to get them fix he only did 2 and said the others were okay! 4 days later my nails are popping off !!
Horrible service. Made me wait 15 minutes to sit down and when I was in the middle of gettin my nails done, the nail person starts on someone else and worked out on them for 15 minutes while I waited. They made my nails too long and overpayed me
My nails look awful...I spent so much money...on a fill, design and pedi...looks like a child did my nails and my feet...the service was terrible and rushed...Spiderman didn't even get all my polish off from my previous set smh..please don't go here...definitely a total waste!
