This place should be your go-to salon in Frederick! Everyone is so inviting & are experts with different types of hair styles. I took my 5-year-old for her first haircut/style and they made her experience the very best! She can't wait to go back and so can't I. The environment is welcoming and the staff all work as one. You can't beat that.
Loved the time and attention given. I called first to see if the took walk-in and was told to come on. Wash, deep conditioning, roll set drying, blow dry to finish. I am VERY picky about who I let trim my ends but I felt very comfortable. Loved the finished look and the decent price afterwards. They have now become my place of choice when in the area.
Black girls with natural hair - beware! I went in for a blow out the they burned the H out if my hair. Now I'm left with permanent heat damaged hair that will never curl back in some places. Learn from my mistakes. Avoid this place like the plague!! They DO NOT know black hair!!!
I called ahead of time to inquire about getting a relaxer and set an appointment and the cost. I get there and the lady starts washing my hair, I immediately told her I wanted a relaxer and she just apologized nonchalantly. So I told her it's fine I'll just wash my hair instead today. She used a fine tooth comb on my 4c hair, I lost a lot of hair. She charged me $15 more than what I was quoted for a relaxer. I've called and no one answers or calls me back. I've been to many Dominican salons growing up in Jersey but this has to be the worst experience.
