Everything was okay until the staff started doing the pedicure. They were talking in their native language which I had no idea of what they were saying. I felt this was rude and disrespectful. It is one thing to be bilingual and to converse with others who speak the language, but it is another thing to do this in front of customers who do not know the language. It is just not a good business practice. I am bilingual, but I would never disrespect another person by carrying on a conversation in a language that other people in the setting did not know. I will never go back to this salon again. Also, this was not the best pedicure I have had.
Made an appointment still had to wait upon arrival. I had three different people work on my nails. The last lady did a crappy rushed polish job. But the worst part was how rude and nasty she was. She wanted to go home and was upset that she had to polish my nails. I will never go back there.
I needed a fill and pedi, my regular tech is in Waldorf and I was in Laurel for the week. Pedi was 45/ 60 for nails I had 2 different techs but each was very sweet. Tina seems to be the guru. She understood what I was requesting and made it happen. I went simple today. Normally I get designs etc.. it today I just did the cat eye for the first time and it came out pretty.
Nail Expo was one of my best nail experiences! They not only have wonderful color choices, customer service but truly worked with me to achieve the best set i have ever received in Gel X. All of the nail techs were versatile!
I recently moved to MD from IL. Found this place on Tix Tox. I was very skeptical about trying some place new. But, I will say that this was worth the 30 minute drive. Although it was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon, and I had to wait about 20 minutes to be taken care of, Vincent did a absolutely amazing job! Knowing that I was new in town, he made sure that I was comfortable and approved of the work he was doing. I will definitely be going back!!
