Nail Envy Salon in Crystal Lake, IL

For my bday my daughter arranged a pedi for me and her sister, while she had her acrylics removed and opted for a no chip. Pedicures went poorly, felt rushed, the polish was goopy, the shape of our nails was bad and lots of left over polish on my toes. My daughter endured having her acryllics pulled off without the benefit of a soak first and then ground off with the electric sander which left her nails thinner. Poor shaping and when she asked for a design she was presented with a sticker book. Taking recommendations for a new place.

Worst experience I've ever had. I went to get my nails acrylic nails removed so I can get my nails ready for a new set. The nail tech kept telling me I'm not a client of his and he shouldn't even be here. He cut me multiple times then said I'm done and he left to call the owner. Another tech stepped in and tried to assist but this is the end result. Everything about this was horrible.

I went to nail envy for the first time today, and although the woman who greeted me wasn't the most pleasant person, my experience with Lily was perfect. I got a very relaxing and thorough pedi, and it felt amazing. I also got a no chip mani, and again lily was beyond thorough. Definitely going back

I honestly am highly disappointed with my nails. I would say I'm not the greatest with nails, but I feel I could've done better than that. This is my second day with my nails done and already chipped half my nails. poor application. I'm thinking of removing the polish myself and go bare nail. Never coming back to this place.

I will not return. It gets one star because it has to and because of the space itself. It's spacious and clean. However, my tech was 30 min late to my appt so I sat with my feet in cold water (even though it was replenished twice with warm water) until they were actually pruney and blue. She then proceeded to rush aggressively through the entire pedicure, it was not relaxing or enjoyable at all. I was with two others one of whom also complained about their techs lack of care. Once she painted my first two toes and checked to see if I liked the color, which I did not, I picked two new ones to try, she applied the second on a third toe which I still didn't like, and landed on the third choice. Instead of removing the other colors she just painted right over them. I even questioned her about it and she said "it's okay No?" At this point I was over the whole process and just wanted to leave. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a spa like relaxing experience or quality pedicure. Disappointed.
