There was no one else in the salon other than myself and my 2 girlfriends and it still was very rushed. The pedicure polish was all over my skin like my daughter had done it and after asking several times to not get it or clean it from my cuticles and nail beds I still ended up having to do it myself. The no chip manicure was the same- all over my nail beds and very uneven and bumpy- the nail tech did was trying to leave it thick in some areas as the polish was light and she didn't wanna do extra coats. I would never go back.
3.5. I got a no chip and it was not very good. The salon that took off the no chip asked if I did it myself. Went back and just did a manicure and it was fine. The location is convenient and I can normally get in sometimes without appointment. When I go I'm gonna stick to the basics. Manicure with a neutral barely there color and basic pedicure.
Sorry to see the low ratings on here. This was my first experience and I'll be returning. The place I was going to was closed today, and it was a good opportunity to try a new place since I always feel rushed at the place I was going to. I got the $40 Tropical (#2) pedicure. Some of the extras include a longer massage w/ different products and a hot paraffin wax that is on a plastic bag and your feet sit in for awhile. It was a wonderful, relaxing experience and I was not made to feel "rushed." Thai did a great job with everything and therefore I will be coming to Julie's Nails going forward.
i have been coming to julie's for 10+ years. i've had my fair share of good and bad visits. i've always known nail salons to never be consistent, is what it is. however, i went in for a fill yesterday and had an incredibly uncomfortable experience. the woman who did my fill was very rude and literally kept scolding me like i was a 5 year old for not relaxing, how does one relax when you keep spazzing at me? i'm 30 and paying for a service to be done. i've ALWAYS loved my time spent with this salon. i'll decide in 2 weeks whether i return or not. just genuinely let down this visit. quality of nails wasn't even that great and she burned my cuticles the entire time with her tools.
I don't write reviews. I don't like to be negative but please do yourself a favor and choose a different place. A 3 year old could paint better and faster. Worst basic manicure I have ever received.
