This is by far the worst haircut I have ever had. The woman was nice on the phone and in person, but that is where the good part of this place went away. I needed about and inch to an inch and a half taken off. This woman, Anna I believe is her name started at 2 imches and went up from there. I told her I wanted it straight across the bottom,... not one hair is the same length as any of the others. The sides do not even match up. If I try to get this fixed, I will have to get a pixie. I had just under the shoulder hair when I went in and now look like a 2-year old a hold of scissors. Save yourself the agony and the want to cry every time you see yourself and just go somewhere else.
I wanted to try something new and my current salon wasn't confident enough to do it. I found out about NY elite hair salon through a friend who has been bragging about how great this salon is. I decided to go and get my hair cut and permed and long behold, they were better than expected! Highly recommend.
My haircut was on point, the way I wanted. Hair wash was more comfortable than other places. Happy with overall experience.

I have never cried after a haircut, until yesterday, when I came here. I payed $40 for a haircut and let me tell you it looks like a 40$ haircut. I have (or had) straight hair two inches below my shoulders. I said I wanted a trim to clean up split ends and wanted to keep my V-shape cut. She cut about 5 inches off, it is not above my shoulders, I am 20 y-old and now look like im 13. Now, I have to go to an actual good salon and ask them to somehow make me less ugly. so much for trying to save money. Don't be like me. I saw the reviews before I came, but the price got the best of me. its not worth it. run.
