Miracle Nails in Rochester, MN

The salon is clean and the staff is lovely, but my dip manicure was perhaps the worst I have ever had. Lifting and peeling day one. Way shorter than I requested and an odd shape. So so so bad

I would not recommend this place. I asked for a standard pedi/mani. The associate assigned to me barely scrubbed my feet (I had called to confirm callus scrubbing). As my toes were drying, the person doing my nails started doing them at the side of the pedicure chair. I had to ask for my cuticles to be redone and my nail filing to be straightened (I had to file down my crooked nail at home). I preferred to sit in the chair with the light so that it would be easier and more accurate. I had to ask 3 times to move to the chair. There was another older white woman in there who had gotten the same thing as I did, and she had moved to the chair with another employee. Once the associate finally took me to the chair to finish my manicure, she used the used towel from the prior customer to wipe off somethings off my hands. Then she had me place my hands on the cold counter without any towel at all. She told me I had to pay before she painted my nails. I said I would pay afterwards, but then she asked me again 3 times forcefully. By this time, I was the only customer in there. After I refused to pay until I was done, the 3 employees in there started speaking another language and laughing, obviously about me. Then I was asked to sit under the fan for over 10 minutes. I looked around for the person doing my mani/pedi and she was no where. The other 2 employees just looked at me. I said I needed to pay and to leave. I got up and then the employee came out from the backroom and attempted to be friendly with me. Overall, I have been to multiple nail salons in Rochester, and this by far was the least clean and least friendly. Being a non-white person, I felt very hurt by this experience, as I wonder if my treatment was due to my ethnicity. I truly wanted to relax and this turned out to be awful and sad.

In my opinion, this is the absolute BEST nail salon in Rochester for manis and pedis. Being a native to Rochester, I have tried many of the nail salons and have not found anything that comes near the quality of Miracle Nails. All of the women are very kind, have great attention to detail, and are meticulous. Their focus is the customer; the customer's comfort, and the quality of the service. They do accept walk-ins, but I generally call ahead of time. They have a small staff and they are locally owned. Depending on the time of day, they can be busy, and I have been there when folks have walked in and had to wait 10 minutes or so. That has never been an issue for me, but I could see where someone else could be a little impatient if they are expecting service right then. With a small staff, the women do a phenomenal job. I have been to other salons that rush through their clients very quickly to get on to the next one. I've never felt like they are trying to rush through me to get to the next customer. I usually go once every two weeks for a gel mani and once a month for a gel pedicure. The only reason I go so frequently is because my nails grow quickly, but the quality of the manicure and pedicure look the same after two weeks as they did on day one, besides new nail growth. I have had a manicure or pedicure by most of the women that work there, and the quality is very consistent between all of them. My schedule works out so that I am generally with Nancy, and she is great! She greets me by name when I come in, and I always feel like I'm going to see an old friend. You are looking for a high-quality manicure or pedicure at a very reasonable price, then definitely consider Miracle Nails.

Walked in, told to sit in chair and wait, waited 30 minutes with no communication and then when I asked about how long they began talking about me in a different language but they kept looking at me and nodding toward me. Deuces to leave because obviously they decided to be rude.

Excellent pedicure and friendly service with a smile. Happy we chose to go to Miracle Nails
