M & B Hair Salon For Men in Austin, TX

I have been coming to you since you opened, I made an appt, with Carmen to cut my hair. When I arrived I was told she no longer was there Armed would cut my hair. Fifteen minutes later he was done he charged me $40 dollars. I gave him a fifty and he said thank you. He did not even offer to give change. Will I ever return? No I will go somewhere else. It was cut way too short. Richard

My husband has been coming here for a haircut now for a few times and I'm happy with it. I normally style his hair for work every morning, and the old hair salon he went to made it difficult for me to style so I often complained to him. Then I decided to take matters in my own hands by looking for his new haircut place and found good reviews about M&B. AMBIANCE/LOCATION: This place didn't disappoint. They have individual cubicles for each hairdresser with their names in front. The hair washing stations are built-in right in front of the mirror so you don't have to move out of the chair like a lady salon. The place is nice and super clean which is a plus. They have an electronic sign-up system when you walk in. TIP: you make an appointment via their website where you can choose your hairdresser, and services which would give you a price or estimated price (the amount is not including tip). SERVICE: Staff are friendly with great communication (some of them are bilingual) and engage in conversation with their clients. As soon as you walk in, you can sign yourself or one of the staff would greet you right away and let you know if you have to wait or they will be right with you. My husband's hairdresser is Suk. She is super friendly, sweet, and understands what you need and she also understands how to work with your hair type. After his haircut at this place, I haven't complained as it's much easier for me to style my husband's hair! It's a win-win or help-me-help you situation. PRICE: this is NOT a $19.99 haircut place for sure, but you get what you pay and in my opinion it's reasonable for the overall services you get. You get a haircut with a hot towel, shampoo & conditioner. VERDICT: We highly recommend this place if you're a guy looking for a great haircut with a pleasant experience, and exceptional service.

We went to M&B for our sons haircut with Jason. He was professional, attentive to detail and executed our son's fade cut perfectly from the picture I showed him. Jason turned cartoons on for our son to watch while he was cutting his hair which held his attention and was a great extra touch. We will definitely be back to see Jason for his next cut!
