When you message. She asks a current picture. (So she can give a better estimate). So i send a picture and tell her that is my current hair from this monday, all i had done was a cut, treatment, and style. She asks how long since i did anything. I said, color and highlights over 8 months ago. I asked for a price on color and highlights. She quoted me the special of $150. Get there today. She asks what color i wanted, i said brown and the highlights blonder. She states that she asks if i wanted the highlights to go on top (she didnt). Honestly highlights go on entire hair. So no i didnt want blond color on my entire head, duh. But lets just say she did ask if i wanted the highlights all the way on top and i said no. I still would have gotten highlights on the bottom as per our texts. NO. I go back to salon. She said she got confused with the picture I sent and assumed i wanted a balayage. I said, how if you ask for a picture of hair and never once did i say that is how i want it regardless. Also, on top did look like a balayage since i hadnt done it for over 8 months but on the bottom you can clearly see i had highlights. Color and highlights was discussed. Never once said balayage through messages or texts. She wasnt taking accountability for her misrake. My hair is damaged as she colored it all blond on the bottom. She ultimately gave me a refund. Maybe it was just a fluke but my hair paid the price. She didnt fix it.
