LKD Nails in Kenner, LA

I go often for a pedi and not once have I been disappointed.
It's definitely a girls day with my daughter while doing a double pedi. All the staff is kind, courteous and fun.
It's an asset for the city of Kenner.

The considerable skill difference from the last place I had gotten my nails done was very clear. They were professional, fast, accurate, and my nails look so much better! I came in as a walk in late on Saturday to get a fill in and didn't wait long, and the place had plenty of seating to wait for my turn. Would definitely recommend! I'm coming back for a pedicure too for sure

Absolutely WILL NOT USE THIS PLACE AGAIN...there is a problem that I have noticed about nail places like this one. Everyone comes in; you sign the registry and if you sit long enough you will notice tricks, gimmicks or tactics they deploy. I would not say this unless I or someone close to me experienced the treatment I'm speaking of. The act of treating certain people different when they visit your establishment is VERY UNWELCOMING. I came to LKD NAILS Aug 6,22 between 12-2pm. I signed in and immediately someone shouted, WHAT DO YOU NEED DONE? So, I waited and about 15 mins later I was still waiting but a white woman wearing eyeglasses and a grey/off white one piece dress came in and ALL of your staffs attention was immediately focused on her. No shouting across the room asking her what she wanted and one of your staff even brought her a color palette. Then the unthinkable happened. Very quietly a staff person took the white woman before me. Not to mention 2 other black females we're waiting before the new arrival. (the 2 black females just finished getting pedicures). I'm hardly quick to jump to conclusions but I will say this is a strange practice of how you accept patrons. You can't even say she had an appointment because if she did; when I came in the door and signed your registry that's when you tell a person I HAVE A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT AHEAD OF YOU MAAM. One thing I'm going to accuse your establishment of is disregarding my time. I am a paying customer and expected to be treated as such. This has happened at other places that look and feel just like your shop. You will not receive another dime of mine you also won't receive another dime of my family and friends especially my friends that look like the woman you took ahead of me on Saturday. I take comfort in knowing that people know what you did to me.  If you don't allow mistreatment please don't visit places that behave this way. Some dont realize WE HAVE CHOICES!!!

Customer Service was great. I had an 9:30am appointment. Didn't have to wait at all. I had a full set as well as as pedicure and everyone was wonderful. The guy that did my name I knew him from a previous establishment so when I saw him I knew I was in good hands. The lady that did my pedicure was a gem. She was so gentle and sweet. Not to rough with my massage just perfect. This is my new little spot. I opted for the coffin shape nails and they're BEAUTIFUL. From the sharping to the color, to the design. This place is every clean. Ana have wonderful and inviting staff. Prices are not too bad. I paid $110 for a full set with designs and special shape and I did the Callus Exfoliating pedicure. I would recommend you make an appointment it gets a little busy. But with an appointment it will secure you a spot.
