John V Salon Spa in Kenner, LA

The place is really nice, but it's the attitude of the girls I got... they were nice but some of the things they would say was just rude. I came in to do my hands and feet for my birthday but I didn't know exactly what I wanted because I wanted something different. The girl doing my hands acted like I was bothering her because I couldn't decide on what to get and was asking her option and she tells me "girl I don't know it's whatever u like I'm just trying to be done" and I'm like damn ok I'm not asking u because I wanna talk to you either I'm just asking for a second opinion like... so then I asked her about a design I had saved on my phone and she goes "girl that's ugly" like?? A simple "it's not my favorite" would have been enough but I just laughed it off bc I didn't want her to mess up my nails if I told her she was being rude. also they were doing my hands and feet at the same time which was really convenient but I was so focused on my hands that I forgot to check on the girl doing my feet and I had asked her if she could put acrylic on all my toes & she was like yea and I told her I wanted French tip just how my hands were being done. Once they both finished I saw my toes and asked if she had did acrylic on all my toes and she said no just in my big toe. Before that I saw her doing acrylic on my big toes so I assumed she was gonna do the rest because that's what I asked for but she starts claiming that I only asked for it on my big toe... like why would I ask for acrylic on only my big toe... and not only that the French tip line was so thin I couldn't even see it and she asked me "do u like it" and I was telling her that it just isn't the way I wanted it and she goes "well girl we already done so.." not even trying to find a solution to it. So I'm looking pissed off because she packed her stuff and left and then finally 5 minutes later the girls like do u want me to fix it and I was like well no cuz y'all said yall were done and if u have to redo it I rather y'all not because I don't wanna make y'all do extra work and my friend asked if they can make the line a little thicker and finally she did it. I ended up liking them at the end but I don't appreciate being treated like I'm bothering them especially when I'm paying for it. They way my nails looked was really good but it's also my fault for not watching the girl doing my feet because if I had noticed before I would have told her something before she continued, I recommended going there just figure out what u want before u go and don't talk to them cuz they are rude. I guess the other salon LKD down the street that I go to Im just used to them being nice and them helping me find what looks best for my nails that I didn't expect this.

They fit me in short notice, helped me pick the perfect color, very friendly and engaging. I

I didn't know that this mail salon existed. I can't believe that I missed out for on for a long time. When I told them that the gel polish was not working for me, they suggested I get dip color. Wow what a difference. I am so grateful that they told me about the dip color. I get Amanda to do both my pedicure and dip color. She is awesome. What I like best is that I can book my appointments online. This feature makes it easy to get my appointments. If you are looking for a great nail salon, give them a try.

I live in the neighborhood and visited this salon three times. I never felt comfortable or appreciated as a customer. The owner or manager, I think her name is Wendy, is very rude and I feel a bit racist. It's so obvious they are talking about you (in their language) in your face. I now go to another salon in the area. It doesn't have all the fancy decor as John v, but the people are very nice and welcoming. If you want friendly service, find another place to give your business. John V Salon is not it.

I went in to get a Pedicure yesterday, so I was taken soon after I arrived which was cool, I spoke to everyone back there getting serviced and I sat on the massage chair, so the customers who were sitting there kept looking at me it was so weird they kept looking at me, I was on the verge of asking MAY I HELP YOU, then the guy who was doing my Pedicure was name Tony he kept looking at me and talking with his friend next to him, it was all awkward still in all I tipped him, but yesterday at John V Salon was weird and fake. Pedi is beautiful though
