Jacky's Salon in Chicago, IL

I just got my eyebrows threaded at Jacky's salon (formally "We Care Hair"). I was very apprehensive to come here because I've had a bad eyebrow threading experience in the past. I've been going to Dipti since high school and the one time I went somewhere else, they ruined my eyebrows. Dipti does a good job, but she rushes and sometimes misses some strays. I just moved one block from Jacky's and decided to give it a try based on their great reviews. I will NEVER go anywhere else. Niden did an excellent job on my eyebrows. She was very meticulous and didn't miss one stray! After the threading she went over them with tweezers to make sure she didn't miss anything. My eyebrows have never looked better. They also take credit cards and allow you to include tip on your card.

I've been going here to get my face threaded for a couple of years. Just got my brows, lip, chin and sides done for $12. Actually they used wax on the sideburns. Several women here have threaded me, and they all do a good job. Very detailed and meticulous. I used to get waxed at a Michigan Avenue salon. Now I walk down the street and get the same results at a fraction of the price. Takes maybe 10 or 15 minutes--max. Only downside is that sometimes they are busy and can't you take right away. (I'm always a walk-in.) I either wait or come back.

This place is now called Jacky's. I've only been for threading, but they've done a great job both times. It's cheap, they take credit cards, and I always get seated right away.

I am very particular with who I go to for my hair color, since I have had many bad experiences. For a few years I have been spending an arm and a leg for a mediocre job. My friend suggessted to go see Jacky at We Care Hair and said I would not be disappointed and boy was she right!! I had my hair colored and hilighted and it looked great for HALF the price I would normally pay. Jacky was super friendly and professional. She did an amazing job with my hair and I am so glad I found my new go to place for my hair color services. I am going back in a couple weeks to have her cut my hair :-)

I got the best perm here and I have been so happy about it I can't even explain it in words. I have had so many people that know me ask me why I never wore my hair curly. It can't get any better than that. They staff is very pleasant and warm to be around. Everyone is friendly and I wouldn't go anywhere else. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!
