123 Nail Salon in Chicago, IL

Went to 123 salon on a whim. It's down the street from my home. I called at 10:30a to see if anyone was available. To their credit, I was told to come at 11a and I was seated with someone immediately. So I appreciated there being no wait time. Unfortunately, this was probably the most sloppy dip manicure I've ever had. The shape of the nails is uneven, thick, and lumpy in parts. The nail is so sloppily done and the dip does not thin at the nail bed as it should. Dip is literally sitting on my nail bed. And there are small dips and bubbles in my dip polish. I'd rather the woman on the phone tell me there was no availability than allow such an obviously inexperienced tech to do my manicure. FYI, I DID NOT HAVE CINDY AS MY TECH. From what I could tell while sitting at the shop, Cindy is very good at her craft. If I ever go back, I'll only try Cindy.

I've been here twice. The first time I got a no chip mani. It looked great and didn't chip-- hence the second star. I came back and I had a different nail tech even though I requested the original nail tech when I made the appointment. My manicure was uneven and I had to reshape my nails when I got home. My nails looked slanted. The pedicure was awful. He was rough with my feet, and I ended up with a swollen and bleeding big toe. He also massaged my foot with a piece of someone's long hair stuck to his glove and I was so grossed out I didn't even think to say anything.

Wanted: thin dip, light pink, almond/round shape. Got: thick, uneven dip that turned yellow within days and the shape was wide and swuare First 3 pics are right after appointment, last 2 pics are after 3 weeks. Would not recommend.

Simply went in for a manicure and i felt a burn on my finger after the woman began dealing with them. She had cut me and tried putting some sort of solution on it which caused it to burn more. The woman and another man began to tell me i was lying i must've already had the cut, she knew that she cut me but still called me a liar. It wasn't like I wanted a refund or money off, a simple apology and a bandaid would have sufficed but they were to busy accusing me of lying smh! I would steer clear of this place

I have been trying this place for awhile, hoping it would get better. But it has not. The nail job other than the owner, is not good. The nails chip even with acrylics. I walked in asking if they had time for a fill & they said yes. I sat down & a few minutes later the receptionist asked if I had an appointment & I said no, & being nice I offered to come back a later time. They didn't even offer to finish off my other hand. So I am walking around with pics below at the moment. I respect people have appointments but they should have never accepted me to sit down if they could not take me. On top of this they are way over priced . $10 to file your nails or shorten them?!
