J. Andrews Salon in Chicago, IL

My visits to J Andrews Salon have been bi-weekly for the past 12+ years. Kim and Nic as co-owners and their staff are absolutely wonderful and the top of the line at their crafts. Hair color, haircuts, lash tints, brow and back waxing have all been given with superb care and personal counsel. Hence, I always feel great and look great. The salon environment is welcoming, inviting and comforting. Appointments are never rushed and the attention to detail makes me feel special at every single visit. Then there are the treats of summer cucumber water and winter hot apple cider. Professional, caring, attentive to every detail from start to finish.

I had wonderful experience. The salon is tucked away in 3rd Coast restaurant on Dearborn. The salon is relaxing not a lot if clutter open and understated . Nevis was my hairdresser who listened to my requests. The shampoo was great . She took time to massage my head. My Haircut is great .She recommended some products and told me how to handle my pesky hair. I will return to her when I am in Chicago.

hands down safest establishment I've been to since reopening started. temperature checks! and they were sanitizing every. single. surface. between customers and employees. they're taking covid guidelines so seriously, it's really impressive. I've been coming here for like a year and a half, maybe two years? but I've gotten big haircuts and trims, and Nic (the owner) took my from this gross balayage someone else did to dark red and made it look so natural. it was the coolest color, I got so many compliments on it, and he really knows his stuff!! Kayla has also colored/cut my hair and she's fantastic. two weeks ago I went and asked her to try to match my natural color and she nailed it. they also do Olaplex here and gloss treatments which I'm all in on, I honestly didn't think my hair could look as healthy as it does now after I've started coming here. huge fan, worth the money every time. thank you guys!!

J Andrews salon is the best salon!! I just moved in from New York and only went to one women over there for practically my whole life so I was a little concerned going to a new stylist in a completely different city. I went in for a keratin with Kayla and absolutely loved the results. I have ethnic hair too and they handled it perfectly. Would recommend to anyone!!! Super nice people, and super professional! Very hard to find a place like this that cares about their clients!!!!

After my daughter received an amazing haircut from Mari , I decided to book one too. Mari was extremely nice and took her time cutting my thick thick hair. She patiently blew it dry and added some needed product to calm my hair. I was impressed with the effort to please me even knowing that I would not be returning because Was here for 4 days only and will be returning to Boston Sunday. I highly recommend Mari!!!
