Invidia Hair Design in Richmond, VA

I found Invidia on Yelp looking for a place near my job where I could pop over on my lunch break for a quick cut. I called when they opened at 10 and was happy to book an appointment for the same day at 130. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and waited a brief amount of time to be seen. Sophia was my assigned stylist. She's a level two so her pricing was reasonable. She took the time to listen and ask questions regarding the look I wanted to achieve and was happy I had photos to help visualize my goal. I left feeling refreshed with my hair washed, cut and styled for a great price. The receptionist even gave me a goody bag since I was a new client. I definitely recommend you give them a try and ask for Sophia!

Since moving to Richmond, I have struggled to find a new stylist who could work the same magic on my hair as my old one, do I decided to look at Yelp and Google reviews to find someone close to my new home. Invidia was super close to my house and had good reviews, so I figured that it worth a try. I called Invidia to make an appointment and was lucky enough to get Carie as my stylist. I told her what I didn't like about my most recent cut and what I really wanted. She knew exactly what I was asking for and agreed that it would be a more flattering style for my face than what I walked in with. 30 minutes later...I knew that I had found my new stylist! I had a pleasant experience from the time I called to make my appointment to the time I walked out the door. I'm still smiling every time I look in the mirror!

Christy was helpful and knowledgeable, and helped steer me in the right direction in order to walk away with a cut I loved, giving me the final say on the details, and executing the style expertly. In my experience, this was a judgement-free, down-to-earth, relaxed, and quality establishment!

I made an impromptu appointment there with Carie, I had really damaged and chopped my hair to pieces, she never made me feel judged, looked at my hair, listened to my ideas and worked with me. I don't go to get my hair done very often because I can honestly say that I've only liked a handful of cuts I've gotten in my life. Needless to say, I'm in LOVE with the cut and the color, booked my return visit before I left.
