Went in to get a gel manicure with clear polish. Left the building and realized she didn't even file them evenly!! I still had a whole hang nail. So i went back and told her the reason i paid for a manicure was so it looked like i got a manicure! Even after the second time going in this is what I got. Dry skin around my unevenly filed nails. NEVER going back.

For context, I've been getting pedicures and various forms of nail treatments for the last (gulp!) 30 years. I've been going to this salon for about a year after moving to the area from out of state. The staff are professional, friendly, offer helpful style and color recommendations, and do a fantastic job. I'm offered a beverage and provided a clean and comfortable spa chair for my experience. I have zero reason to try out another salon for my nail needs. As for scheduling and wait times, I expect that occasionally, I'll have to await a chair during busy times (I do make appointments); however, only once was I not invited to be seated in an open chair immediately. I've seen walk-ins accommodated as well. And finally, their overhead audio sound- track has the best mix of 70s, 80s, and 90's music, that I've heard customers singing along with abandon! InStyle Nails meets all my expectations and I highly recommend.

I love this place! I've been going for years now and they never disappoint! If you are looking for a place to get your nails done, I highly recommend them!

Let me start by saying this review does not reflect the techs at all. They are all wonderful and the sweetest. Especially B! My mom is a regular there and always requests for her. The review is about the new manager and his "customer service" he gave us today. They are under new management and because of this new manager, Instyle just lost two customers today. My mom invited me to a pedicure today. I had my son with me, who happens to be almost 9 months old, but he did terrific while we were there. My pedicure finished before my mom so my son and I had to wait. No big deal. I had my son sitting on a pillow covered by a towel on my lap. Well he had a blow out. He's a baby. These things happen. It got on him, me and the towel. I had to wait for my mom anyway, so I scooped my son up in the towel and went to go change him in my car. The owner was sitting at the front desk glaring at me as I was walking out so I stopped and told him I would pay when I got back and that I needed to change my son. I literally had left everything with my mom. My phone, my wallet, my stroller, everything but the diaper bag. Well by the time I had finished cleaning my son up, my mom came out with everything. Of course she had to pay for me. The manager wouldn't let her leave the building until she did. But when she was paying, the manager was upset I walked out with a towel gave my mom a hard time and charged her $2 for the damn towel!!! My mom offered to wash it and bring it back (knowing it would not be accepted back) to which he replied "that is gross! I have to watch for the health of my customers." My mom told him to shut his mouth before he lost a loyal customer. He then didn't say anything else. Here's what really infuriates me. If he's so concerned about the health of his customer, when we got there and they sat us for our pedicures, there was still the drink and trash from the person before in my mom's seat. So that means they did not clean the tub or chair in between customers. Also THEY HAVE A DOG IN THE BUILDING. They owners have a French bulldog they keep in the back of the building. They brought it to the the front of the building off leash to let it go potty outside. You want to talk about unsanitary?! What if the customers are allergic to dogs?! Pretty sure the health department would not like to hear about that. Second of all, the owner obviously does not have children or he would understand that babies poop and these things happen. It was not like we planned it and there was absolutely no reason to be so rude about it! Had my shirt been soiled, I would have gone back in there and he would have heard a mouth full from me. So because of his rudeness, he lost two loyal customers. (We're sorry B! We still love you!) Since the new management change, everything is about money. The poor ladies now have to push and try to up sell you when they never had to before. They don't communicate with the techs when they have appointments. They are just there for the money!!
