I wish I loved my hair so much ! But... it's awful. Robin and the salon are so cute and inviting but after 3 appointments, I've got to move on. My "natural, minimal color, easy maintenance look" hair is so orange and clunky. This salon is at the tip top of my price range but the reviews were all superior, and I really wanted to splurge on something that made me feel extra special and beautiful. :(

Like so many other people, I haven't gotten my hair cut by a professional for over a year, and I recently moved away from my stylist. I've passed by Holladay Hair Studio a few times and decided to book a cut with Mary. The booking process was super easy on their website, and Mary was fantastic. Easy to talk to, and even when there was a lull in the conversation, it didn't feel awkward. I let her know my likes/dislikes (no bangs for me) and my hair routine (I brush it...) and let her have free reign. I love how it turned out. Just enough layers to give my hair movement, but not so much that I can't pull it up and out of my way. I highly recommend Mary and will be coming back again!
I randomly passed by Holiday Hair Studio after having lunch nearby and popped in to check out availability/pricing. I was greeted warmly by Mary, who said she'd love to do my hair and squeezed me in for an appointment the following weekend.
All in all: 10/10, HIGHLY recommend seeing Mary at this salon for all of your hair needs. I brought in pictures of my desired cut/color and after a few minutes of chatting through what I was hoping to achieve, Mary got to work. It was such an incredible experience: she is such a kind, open and amazing human, not to mention extremely talented!
After 3 (yes, 3!) years of neglect, my hair finally got the love and rejuvenation it needed. Mary absolutely nailed the look I was trying to achieve, and then some. I left the salon feeling refreshed, confident and like a brand new woman. I'll definitely be going back to see her!
