Despite Shannon taking her time and being thorough with my daughter's haircut, she did not communicate to my daughter that she would be taking approximately 6+ inches off my daughter's long curly hair. My daughter didn't ask for/wasn't at all expecting a "longish bob". The curls actually look great in that Shannon does know what she's doing with regards to "curly cuts" but again, communication should have been better and clearer. My daughter was in tears when she left the salon.
Absolutely in Love with my new look. Shanon is absolutely unique and a beautiful professional!!! It seemed way too short, at first, but then when I got home, I can't stop starring at my beautiful, healthy curls! Thank you, Shanon! Will be back soon Alina
This is THE place to go if you have curly or wavy hair. Shannon is incredible! She did a phenomenal job with my cut - turning my long, curly mop of hair to a cute and bouncy look. She kindly talked me through what she was doing, helping me to understand how to better take care of my hair. Similar to the other reviews, not only did I get a great cut, but I got a wonderful conversation. Shannon is kind, sharp, and tells it like it is. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and energized. I recently moved here, and I'm so happy to have found my new go-to stylist in Shannon!
Shannon was very kind and thorough. The devacut was amazing and I feel like my hair is so much more manageable. The deva products are wonderful and makes my hair feel hydrated and less frizzy. I have always fought the frizz and rough hair and let it do it's own thing. Shannon was very communicative and even talked me through the products she used. The studio was so nice and clean and easy to find.
My 18 year old daughter has very long, very thick and very curly hair, she is a nightmare for most stylists!!! She found this place on line and really wanted to make an appt, as Shannon was the only person around who had a focus on thick, curly hair. It took a while to get in, but it was worth the wait. Appointment was made on-line and easily changed when something came up. Shannon was very professional; she was running slightly late, but said hello and apologized for expected delay. Gave focus of attention appropriately to my daughter, as a young adult, which I really appreciated. She's the customer, but I am the buyer! She was kind and considerate, made us both feel welcome. Took excellent care of my daughter's hair, providing very good education as she went along. Not pushy at all about the DevaCurl products she sells at very reasonable prices (with which we are happy.)
