Great Clips in Charlotte, NC

I facetimed my boyfriend this morning and he had a hat and hoodie on.... I asked him what went wrong and he said when he went in for a haircut this morning, said it was a lady who's never done his hair... The other lady actually does a fine job. But this time.... The new lady who cut his hair, left maybe not even an inch of hair. He commented saying "um that looks pretty short" and she just said "oh its fine" and continued cutting... Usually his haircuts are just fine from there but this time was awful. He is not one to do much about it, such as leave a review on the horrible job that was done, so I am.

Worst haircut of my life. She just started grabbing bunches of my hair and chopping away. The spray she used to wet my hair was more than just water - something sticky. By the time she was done, I had the most lopsided, hack job of a haircut I've ever had: practically bald on the left side and too long on the right. I have no choice now but to let it grow in for a few weeks before I go to a real salon to have them fix the mess this woman made of my hair. I'll never go to this or any other Great Clips again.

Worst haircut EVER!  Stylist didn't trim any of the layers even though that was my request.  She trimmed the bottom length and side bangs then left the back very uneven. I asked for her to blow my hair dry and since my hair was barely damp, this took literally 3 strokes with the round brush, no products used at all except for entirely too much hair spray at the end.  She never touched the top of my hair.
Charge for 3 minutes of pseudo styling was $25 in addition to the cost of the cut.  I will NEVER step foot inside this place again!!

Worst haircut in 15 years... zero blending/fading on sides and cut off over an inch on top when asked for just a tiny trim. No-So-Great Clips will not be getting any of my business any longer thanks to Teresa's cut today. Literally was in the chair for only 5 minutes, and there were no customers waiting so no need to rush. Better to pay a little more and look good!

Have been going to a Great Clips somewhere for many years now. I like the convenience that I can always find one almost anywhere I travel. The online check in is perfect and gets you to the top of the wait list before you even come in - even makes the people sitting there when you walk in kinda upset.

The staff working at their locations is always kind of a mixed bag. I usually find a shop, someone I like there and go back to them every time. Alex here does a good job. My hair cut even with a wash is cheap and I'm outta there in no time for under $20. If you start becoming a regular they will eventually stop offering products to you if they know you're not typically a buyer. Make sure you look out for the time limited parking spots directly in front of here and avoid those.
