Fridas Beauty Salon in Charlotte, NC

Elayne and Ana are absolutely awesome!  My daughter loves getting her hair straightened and I just wanted to see that beautiful radiant smile when he hair is blown out. I went to 4 other salons that all claimed to be open on Sundays and it was a waste of my time.  When I called this place, Elayne asked me not to head over until 2pm otherwise I would be waiting there because they had several appointments for the day.  She promised me she would take care of my little girl and she made it happen!  I am absolutely thrilled to have found them and my daughter will be seeing them every 2 weeks.   If you're looking for a Dominica salon that knows what they're doing, search no further, I grew up in this culture and I know what I'm talking about.

I love this place! My hair has never felt lighter! I have a thick fro and now I can shake it. Very professional and friendly. I will recommend and will be back.

All the ladies are very talented.  However, every time i take my daughter to get a roller set they blow her out when I leave.  Every time, no matter what I stress to them.  They do a good job but I want whats healthy for her hair and not convenient for them.  I'm the Mamma!  Lastly, the location is SCARY!

Went for the first time today.  I'm new to Charlotte after moving from NY less than a month ago.  I've been doing a lot of searching for a Dominican hair salon comparable to what I'm used to in NY.  Today was a good day.  Elayne the owner was friendly and is also a recent transplant from NY.  The service was professional and the wait wasn't long.  Appointments are recommended although walk ins are accepted as well.  The price was also reasonable and on par with NY (where other places I called were almost twice as much for a wash and set).  I will be back and hopefully this will be my regular spot!

My visit was great! My stylist was fast and did a thorough job of straightening my hair.
