Genesis Beauty Salon in Yucaipa, CA

I went to this salon for a simple root touch up. I had heard the day before that a young girl didn't pay for their services and cause a scene with her mother and threatened to call the police. My friend gets her hair done here and it looks fine. .My current hair falls out in the shower and was falling out in the salon chair. My hair was and has been purple for the last 7-8 months. I paid 140$ for them to fix my roots. THEY Never once did a strand test in my hair falls out by the chunks in the shower. i'm reason after i had told her not to do a bleach wash on my hair she decided to do it anyway and then as soon as were done with that and try to hold her in my hair she sends in the mirror and watches me pull out my hair was pulled out and jelly like tongue and in huge chunks and then proceeds to tell me that she can cover it with purple every other stylist in the salon was also panicky tell by looking at them and they were all coming to me trying to fix my hair all I asked was I get it all minutes and I don't recommend anybody coming here they don't do strand test they don't have I don't know if their licenses are real honestly at this point like he should know better he should know if someone's hair is not changing color there's no need for a bleach wash please save your hair and don't go here I also have photos I just don't want my face on the internet I really wanted to cry and didn't because I honestly felt bad for them but in reality what they did was wrong and I shouldn't have protected their feelings this salon is horrible Remember as a customer you ask for what you want done and if they can't comply or do the simple strand test beforehand DONT GO This should not have happened to my my hair was long and I spent three years growing it out for them only to destroy it I will update with a video of how it looks when wet.

They doesn't show what time they open or close, and they don't answer their phone it's super frustrating

First time at this salon, and it was a great experience! Maria is so sweet, and gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had! They are social distancing and wearing masks, too, trying to keep everyone safe. Highly recommended!!

I called ahead, they said come on in. I love this place. Prices are great. The skill of the stylist( I've seen a couple) superb, friendly. Made me very comfortable instant I hit the door. The also speak Spanish as well as English.

I came here today to get my eyebrows threaded by Jenny. I have not found someone that could do my eyebrows until I found her. She did such an excellent job, she takes her time and is very understanding of how you want your eyebrows. What caught my eye the most is that it's very affordable ($4)!!
