I'm a Veteran and I saw listed online that Fantastic Sams was offering a free haircut to Veterans on Veterans Day, when I went in to ask I was frankly told NO. Anyway here in Yucaipa is a great haircut place called Great Clips, next to Aldi's in the Starbucks building, much friendlier staff and vibe, told me about the wait time but would text me when it was about my time, so thanks to Great Clips I got several things done and didn't lose my place in line very satisfied with Great Clips personally I won't set foot in any fantastic sams place again
Hilarious. Called to see if they have any appointments for today and she rudely said "it depends on what you want done." I said a haircut. She said "no we're completely booked today." Did I miss the magic password of what I was supposed to say I wanted? Why would she say it depends? I said ok, thank you and she abruptly hung up. What a way to run a business.
I was a regular customer at this location for four years, my cut & color was $45 after my first visit, when I asked a manager there for a senior discount...So including my $5.00 tip, I paid $50...Fast forward to after Covid, November 2022...All of a sudden I am 'attacked' by a very rude - and combative - female 'manager' who claims that my price was wrong all that time, and that the stylist was just 'doing me a favor', and since she left for Orange County, my price has now been doubled to $88 - without the tip! She continued to basically call me a liar, and that I was part of a 'conspiracy' to rip off the owner of the business! I have had my hair professionally done for over 20 years now, and I have NEVER heard of a man paying over $55 for a cut and color...A woman with long hair? Yes, $80+...But a old man with short hair? NO...So I went to the national competitor here in town, and my price is $57! AND: On that last cut with the 'new' stylist, it was literally the worst cut & color of my life: Even before I left, I pointed to the mirror, and I said: 'What did you do to my hair'? She actually said, 'Well, you can go home & just wash it off'! When I got home, my wife was in shock, it took two hours to clean it up - and then, we noticed the horrible cut! Both sides missmatched, side burns uneven, horrible! Please do not go near this shop!
