Galaxy Nails in Greenfield, IN

I didn't have the best experience at my usual nail spot in Greenfield the last time so I figured I'd give this place a try again. It's been years since I've used Galaxy and figured I'd give them one last chance and unfortunately it was a worse experience than in the past. The water for the pedicure was cold, not lukewarm, literally cold. I politely told the gentleman taking care of me it was cold, he said something to the woman that seemed in charge then added a touch of hot water. I didn't want to seem like "that woman" so I just dealt with the cold water. I will say the gentleman seemed super focused and took his time with each step. When I asked the price of a pedicure with regular polish he asked the woman and she looked up on the wall and seems to just think up a price., $35. As I stated before the man taking care of me seemed to take his time and really tried on my pedicure. I love the color I chose and decided I should just get my nails painted the same color. I then asked the man how much to just paint my nails with the same color, no manicure or filing needed. He again asked the woman and she looked up on the wall and thought for what seemed like forever and said $15. I pay $8 across the street for the same thing but hey, everyone has their own prices and I really wanted my fingers and toes to match. He decided to file my nails on his own and before I could say no, he started using a drill over the top of them as well. At that point I just cringed and let him finish. He kept me in the pedicure chair and just had me lean over so he could reach my hands to paint them. I could tell he was a hard worker and wanted to please me and I gave him a great tip for that and what he did. I won't be back though because the drill damaged my nails to the point that it looks like I had acrylics or gel and there are weak spots from the drill that keep breaking. He also used the drill on my toes to the point that one looks cute. My nails and toes did look really pretty but the damage to my nails and skin won't warrant a return visit in the future. The shop seemed pretty clean for the most part but very outdated.

The nail tech rushed through the process. The gap between the nail polish and cuticle is too big for my liking. Not what I expected.

I got a gel pedicure done here and the girl did a great job took her time and really focused the areas that needed the work done on my feet. I did have to a wait a little longer then expected but it was worth it, they were a bit busy. Overall I will be back :)

I am not impressed with this at all.  She tried to "fix" my nails and continued to say she would fix them.  They looked the same.  I will need to put another set back on.  Some were pointing up some where paint was all over my finger and my nail.  Not impressed at all. Still had to pay full 40 for nails I will have to redo completely

I sat there for almost 3 hours waiting to get my nails done and every time someone else walked in they took care of them before even thinking about doing my nails. I finally got up and left after sitting there waiting. I won't be back.
