Sean at Gabba Gabba isn't the hairstylist for me. He talks a big game and is either incapable or unwilling to deliver. I spent an additional $250 at a different salon to fix his highlighting mistakes. Sean took 5 hours and charged me $390 for a haircut and highlights that takes 2 hours and costs $260 at a high end salon in Washington DC. To top it off, I was left with lots of breakage and unsightly bleeders where the color expanded during processing and leaked out of the top of the foils. When prompted to apply a toner by the person who washed my hair, he said no. He was aware of the issue and did nothing to fix it. I didn't see all the bleeders until I got home, because of the way he styled my hair to hide his mistakes, I've allowed enough time to pass since this unfortunate incident to thoughtfully consider how to word this review.
They fixed my sons hair! He had dyed it black and didn't think anything could get that out and back to his natural colour but this place did! The staff was wonderful caring and honestly took plenty of time to do what needed to be. Very happy. I'm a bit late posting this review, but better late then never.
It's hard to find a salon in the area that understands modern men's hair. So I went in with tempered expectations, but came out a new man. Sean sat with me and listed to what I was looking for, and taught me about how my style fits with my face and how I could make it a fit for me before he even started cutting my hair. I have tried the other places, but if you are a guy looking to get to that next level. This is the place for you.
This salon is amazing! I did hair for ten years and am VERY picky. I have NEVER loved my hair more. They are talented, professional, and they CARE. I go to Sean the owner, I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!
Very happy with the end results after 2 visits. Sean does a great job and listens to your needs and everyone else is friendly and warm. Sure, their product line was mentioned on my first trip, but that is par for the course in a good salon. Being new to the area I was lucky to find them since I had been simply letting it grow out rather than face a new hair salon. My husband is going there now, too, since his hair specialist moved out of state. This is a pleasant and comfortable salon.
