I booked online believing the cost was $27. Then I was told $70 for a child who literally just turned 13 years old? You could have told us first before taking a whole 10-15 minutes to do a basic haircut then telling me you were charging us for an "adult." First off, she's a 7th grader, not even close to an adult. I find that extremely unprofessional. That was very inappropriate. Not worth $70 for less than 15 minutes. Just wow. Never coming back here again.

If you want high way robbery this is the place they will not only charge you 300 dollars for haircut and highlight but the service was horrible Vula was my hair dress she did a horrible job on top of having 3 clients at the same time that would of been fine if my hair turned out nice color horrible hair cut horrible everything about this place is horrible not worth the money I would stay away!!!!

I told the stylist I wanted to simply have a few inches from my root area bleached again to match the rest of my already blonde hair in a balayage style (so my hair wouldn't grow out in a line). I have had this done before with no issues at other places in the past. Instead, she under bleached my hair (she only did about half the amount of hair that I would normally get done), leaving large amounts of hair still brown, and then the toner (which should have been an icy blonde) made my whole head brown! All of the blonde, including the little bit she had done and what I already had, is now brown! After the blow dry I asked her why my hair wasn't blonde (I had checked in with her multiple times during the appointment to reaffirm what I wanted because I was skeptical during the process), and she said that the toner would fade with time and that the lighting was bad. I understand that she wanted to even out where the toner and my natural hair met, but that doesn't mean she needed to make my whole head light brown instead of just going after that one area. And even that didn't work- when I pull my hair back, there is still a noticeable divide between the colors. My other complaint is that while we were doing the consultation, she quoted me around $140 for the bleaching and toner. When I went to check out, my total was $192! I have no idea where the extra $50 charge came from, and I don't appreciate that it wasn't disclosed. I also never received a receipt with an explanation as to why the 25% price increase. I didn't bring up the charge at time of checkout as I was still in shock at the state of my hair. I can't say I'd recommend anyone to go here as I am now more brown than when I walked in the door, price shrouding nonwithstanding.

The Rochester location is small but intimate and easy to park at. Kristin is the person to see for hair and color. I have tried other big name salons but they left me disappointed. Figo and Kristin are trustworthy and skilled!
