Marie's Salon & Spa in Rochester, MI

I originally thought this would be a very nice place to go and continue to get my hair done after. After my first visit I quickly realized the owner Marie was not a decent person nor decent businesswoman whatsoever. She was disrespectful towards me when I showed her nothing but respect. Also her prices online are different from in-store she tries to charge more and that is false advertising. Overall this is not a well run business and shouldn't even still be in business. I recommend nobody waste their time or money at this location.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! I got my acrylics done here, it took an hour and a half to complete and my nails were all different shapes and sizes. Less than a week later three nails have broken in half and two completely fell off. I paid almost twice the amount I get charged other places and they didn't last a week. They fell off while I was doing laundry and vacuuming and just doing everyday things. I went back in to show Marie and ask for a refund and she proceeded to tell me it was my fault and only refunded me a small portion of my money. Very disappointing.

Prices and times are not accurate. Mani and pedi was rushed- my shellac began to chip in less than a week. Not worth the price - again which is not accurate on their website.

Marie's salon is a gem. Very accommodating, welcoming, and friendly. They were kind enough to squeeze me in for a color change on my toes, and went to extra effort to make sure it was perfect. The setting at the corner of 4th and East Street makes it perfect for watching out the window while waiting for your polish to dry, relaxing to the soft jazz background music. Lovely experience.

Met the owner and she gave me and a friend a huge discount on mani/pedis! we had a great time. it was really lovely and clean. boutiquey atmosphere. all of the techs are really lovely! next time i need a hair cut, i will be making an appointment here!
