FASHION BEAUTY SALON & SPA in Bronx, NY

i don't even want to give ONE STAR! Prices do NOT MATCH THEIR WORK. i never mind spending especially for MY self care but when you CANT do a LINE DESIGN! A LINE DESIGN! Then I proceeded to just forget about the design and was told "you will still have to pay $14 for the two designs because they 'dried'" THEY DRIED BECAUSE BOTH 'nail technicians' took 30 mins on one nail for a LINE DESIGN! enough! If I spend my money I want to at least be satisfied with what I walk out the nail Salon with!

I do not have a set nail place I go to, I started my hunt off of google. I called and was greeted by a pleasant person named Mike. He accommodated me and I walked in, I stood around like a Zombie as they weren't really that friendly. After 10 minutes of awkwardly standing around watching, I was told to wash my hands and wait for the tech. Everyone was wearing a mask, and there is a plastic to divide you from the tech and the customer. My tech was Gloria, she was friendly, didn't engage me in much conversation. I showed her what I wanted, I expressed to her not to use too much acrylic as I dislike and cant deal with chunky acrylic nails. She expressed she understood. Throughout the entire time she was respectful. However, I am beyond unhappy with my results. I even canceled the pedicure. The design was pretty, I was charged 65. My big fear of having chunky acrylic nails became true. I feel like I have mini blocks of cheese in each individual nail. My pinky nail looks like it can be an index finger. My basis is off the numerous times Ive done my nails and they do NOT look so aggressive looking. I gave it a 3 stars, maybe its the tech lack of experience with making nails look natural. I spoke with the manager and he continued to ask for pictures of the work not offering true solutions. I have never looked forward so much to a soak off. The design is cute... just cant manage my nail beds feeling so heavy.
