This place does not honor appointments. I made an appointment and received a confirmation via text. When I got there the owner tells me she could not do my hair. After leaving work early, now you know I was upset!! This place is unprofessional. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

This place is a hot mess. One of the hair braiders, Gigi, flaked on my appointment leaving me there for about 3 hours, not answering anyone's call. I was bewildered someone would be okay with letting go of a minimum $180, but later I was told by another one of the stylists that the braiders don't work on light skinned women. Whether that's true or not, that tells me there's no trust, loyalty, or cohesion in that environment. Not that her words mean much to me since that same gossiping stylist has also really fallen short of proper customer service the last two times she's dyed my hair. She failed to put petroleum jelly on me prior to dyeing so I was stuck with a dark stain of hair dye on my forehead for days after, and my last haircut was shoddy, to say the least. I presented her with a photo of shaggy layers with curtain bangs, she nodded, and I'm basically left with no bangs and a layer of what looks like a bad bob over a longer layer of what's left of my wisps of hair. The final straw was driving all way from Queens today for my nail appointment only to find another client had been double-booked at my time and was already in the chair. I was told to get something to eat & return. This is why we, as a people, as Bronxites, will never succeed ‍‍ UPDATE: So, because I posted an HONEST review, the hair braider texted me, making me feel threatened and unsafe. I've sent several voice notes to the owners expressing my dismay at this HUGE lack of professionalism. And now, the irresponsible nail tech, Beatrice, got angry with me for not holding her hand with running her business because I didn't text her when I paid my deposit so she "forgot" and put someone else in my spot. She said she can't keep up with the notifications on her phone. I explained that it's incumbent upon her to handle the logistics of her business. These losers have an excuse for EVERYTHING. They take no responsibility & have no accountability. Again, this is why our people struggle to win. They're more stuck on "keeping it real" than keeping it professional. SKIP THIS SALON, FOLKS! The BX/NYC has no shortage of hair and nail places with actual professional and :: gasp :: KIND people!!! Another update: hair braider, Geneve (Gigi/Gege) continued to send me harassing text messages despite my reporting her to the owners of the salon. I had to block her on my phone and report her account. This is beyond unprofessional. If these owners don't replace their entire staff, they're gonna end up having to shutter their doors thanks to unsavory behavior on the part of their own employees.

I am so glad I found this gem of a salon. Spacious, clean, and great service. I get my mani, pedi and hair done, and I must say my hair it's the best it has even been. I am very specific about my nails because I like a clean job, and Janeth really does a GREAT job with my nails. She is very meticulous in removing everything and paints my nails to perfection. If I could give this place 6 stars I would!

I had such a beautiful experience getting a gel manicure and pedicure. It's a calm atmosphere. The nail technician went above and beyond saved my hands and feet from this other place I tried that had destroyed my toe nails and hands. I felt in such good trusting hands. I had picked a color and she demonstrated it to me and showed it wasn't going to be the shade I wanted with two coats and helped me pick out another color. I trusted her to pick out my color. She payed attention to detail and looked for a light shade nail polish that was to my liking. She removed my callouses that the razor blade from this other place I previously went to Caused and made me feel so confident showing my hands and feet once more. They only go by appointments and respect clients time. There's no rushing and I mean she even removed all my ingrown nails in my toes without me asking. The technician was gold. I liked my first experience won't be my last.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I can't stress it enough! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This is the worst salon i have ever been too! From the moment I walked in the hair dressers began talking about me in spanish (which I am fluent in). From the minute she started washing my hair she started complaining about how much hair I have. I stated I wanted a regular blow dry with volume, not pin straight. The hair dresser, (her name was Janeth Montero) than called her boss on the phone and started speaking about me in spanish how I have to much hair and its to long and then proceeded to put me on the phone with the boss who was asking for extra money because I came on a groupon, which I had no problem paying but just wanted to ensure my hair had volume. The hair dresser than proceeded to continue to talk about me with the other hair dresser causing me to feel so uncomfortable. She then proceeded to give me the worst blow dry of my life!!!!!! I had to finish it myself!!!!! I am not kidding..I literally had to take the round brush & blowdryer and finish my own hair (not even a joke!!!) When i asked her to call the boss back she refused. Do not waste your money here! I can't stress how uncomfortable I felt. The boss then proceeded to text me, after I sent her a very long email explaining the experience, to "contact groupon for a refund." No apology nothing!! TRUST ME DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! If you are looking for a quality salon in that area of bronx that charges the same price and has great hair go to Capelli Xpress on buhre ave (which I also found on groupon, and regret not making an appt with them). Trust me do not go here. The owner Lady is rude & if you do go here do not like Janeth Montero touch your hair!!!
