I cannot speak for all of the hair dressers but I would not recommend Connie at this location. I went in for a simple trim and got a jagged, uneven haircut. One side is noticeably shorter longer than the other. Also, she was very rough with the brush when blow drying my hair. So much so that it left scratches on my forehead.
Had a great time here. I got a fresh new haircut and style. My stylist was great. She asked me tons of questions to get me a style I would like. My stylist Connie Lewis. She was great. The vibe of the place was Christmas. They had Christmas decorations up. I have before and after photos.
I didn't have my hair done at all because of the service I received via a phone call. I scheduled an appointment on Sat 9/23 for a shampoo and blowout, I did this online through your website (which by the way, shows an elm st. address after the reservation is placed, which is very confusing). Hence why I called Friday 9/22 to verify the location that my appt was actually scheduled at. I spoke with allan and he said "well your calling the zumbel location", I said "I know I need to verify that my appt was made for your location not the elm st. location". He confirmed and we hung up. About 10 min later he called to tell me that I'm actually scheduled with him but he does not do shampoo/blowouts. But he could get me in at 1030 for a haircut. I explained I had a wedding to go to so was wanting just a shampo/style and he again said he couldn't do that. I told allan "if you can't style my hair, then just cancel the appt." I'm still just trying to figure out what kind of hair stylist can only cut hair, not style hair. Needless to say because it was too late to make another appt anywhere else I was just out of luck.
Went in scared to death because I hadn't had a haircut in over 7 years! But I met Becca and felt reassured and comforted by her knowledge, by her inspiration, and her dedication to making my experience and hair perfect! After a balayage done by a previous friend, Becca blended the colors with a partial foil and toner, and my hair came out wonderful. Perfect length and color. Exactly what I wanted and the price was even less than what I imagined. Excited to show off my new hair on my trip to New York City this week!
