Fantastic Sams Cut & Color in Fort Worth, TX

I have never felt the need to rate a hair place, since most of them are the same. But today was ridiculous. I have a child that refuses to take care of his hair (literally, in the past month used about as much shampoo and should have in 2 days, since he claims to "forget" to use shampoo, despite being 14)... So, the solution we do, is get his head shaved at about a 2 (not a 1 or completely shaved) and warm him about it that if he doesn't wash his hair properly, we'll have it shaved again. Usually there is no issue, especially when I explain why, and they usually have a talk with him about taking care of his hair, etc. But the lady today tried to argue with me and wanted to use a 2 on the sides and a 6 on top, despite me saying what we needed done Then when he was in the chair, she tried to convince him to let her use a 6, as well, but he just said "just use a 2". Then she asked him if he wanted a shampoo... Not the parent that's paying for it (I might have said "yes" but didn't get asked), which added a couple of dollars to the total. Before he started refusing to wash it properly, I would even tell him it's his call since it's his hair, what he wanted, when he was very young, and only changed that because got tired of his hair always being knotted up and overall looking homeless

I never felt so humiliated and taken advantage of in my life! My appt was 9/19/20 (my birthday) and here it is 10/6 and it's still on my mind. When I arrived my greeting was a can I help you with a frown from the manager (Bonnie). She had a lady by the name Pat start my services which was a root touch-up. Anyway, she sectioned my hair off then left to the back to mix my color. While she was gone here come Bonnie again asking me if I wanted a quote of the services I was receiving today (as if I didn't schedule my appt) and said that Pat told her I wanted to know. So after my color was laid, Bonnie came again to tell me she's more experienced and will take over doing my hair for Pat after she wash my color out. Great job on my shampoo Pat! Bonnie later butcher my hair cut and I practically had to show her how to flat my hair which she still couldn't get straight due to the cheap flatirons she used and later charged me an extra $10 ffot the flat iron. Run far away as you can!

Wonderful service very friendly and chatty (in a good way!) will definitely be coming back to this specific location Bonnie was awesome

I had an appointment for 2 o'clock with Bonnie she never showed up so I had somebody completely different end up doing my hair after I was already waiting there for about 20 to 30 minutes after my appointment time. I wanted highlights and I completely did not get what I asked for I did not catch the ladys name that ended up doing my hair she was supposed to leave at 2 but she ended up staying and finished my hair at around five so I tipped her $30 because I felt bad. But I completely did not get the outcome I wanted on my hair and I am extremely dissatisfied after paying so much money.

Kia was nice. Unfortunately they told me it was going to cost (ballpark) $100 for a partial highlight and root touch up and it ended up being $150. That was quite the shocker. My hair was average. Wasn't great, wasn't bad.
