I had the opportunity to receive amazing services from Ken at Fancy Nails. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. It is a quiet and clean environment. I received a signature pedicure and gel manicure both of which were completed meticulously. The conversation was also very pleasant. If you're looking for a nail salon where you are made to feel at home, they pay attention to detail then I encourage you to make an appointment at Fancy nails. I should let you know that at present it is appointment only but this allows the them to provide you with the attention you deserve.

Ken did a great job with my gel manicure! My nails looked so much better after I visited Fancy Nails! Ken was very meticulous and friendly. Will be back soon!

I don't recommend this nail salon if you want a regular (not gel) manicure. The selection of regular nail polishes was old and dry and the nail technician convinced me to use a gel color without the gel coating on top. They didn't have the color I wanted (a neutral dark coral) even in the gel polish so I chose another color. The color selection wasn't even half the problem, the immediate chipping was! Attached is a photo of my nails one day after the $20 manicure. The technicians were nice and all but I will not be going back after this experience.

I've been to this salon twice. I loved my nails. Today however I went had my nails beautifully done. Scheduled another appointment with Ivy paid and left. I asked questions about the charges to understand her pricing. One thing I was told there is a 7.00 charge for nails up to a certain length which is what I have. A 10.00 charge for longer nails. In the process of me trying to understand her pricing I guess she must have gotten upset. Once home I received this text message from her "I am so sorry for texting you like this, I don't think i can do your nails again so I have to cancel your appointment in the future. I hope you could find some other places with a better price and quality services. We still have the 7 days guarantee for your set you have done today, if anything happens my coworker can fix for you! Thank you for supporting our small business. I responded "I'm sorry you feel that way simply because I was trying to understand your prices. It's your business and you have the right to refuse my business however I am sorry you feel that way. Blessings to you and your business. I would have truly appreciated her talking to me before I left so we could have better understood what the issue was with her. I again love my nails and have no problem paying for the service obviously since I returned and also Scheduled another appointment before leaving. I am just mystified as to why she could not have cleared any concerns before I left. I will find another salon that's not a problem because they are everywhere in the area. I just liked the way she did my nails. I guess when your doing good in your business rejecting customers instead of talking to them is the way to do business. I am hurt at the way she did this because if I said or did anything to offend her, I truly would have apologized. Anyway much blessing to her and her business.

Amazing service. They have four nail stations and about five or six pedicure stations. BA did my nails. She has a very interesting technique for dip which I LOVE. She paid a lot of attention to cuticles, she did not roughly file my natural nails, applied a cuticle oil at the end of service. As I was enjoying my self care- I overheard customers stating they hat they drove from Maryland, Richmond,VA and Washington D. C. Just to get their nails done at Fancy nails. I'm from California and just stumbled upon this shop via the Yelp. I'm very pleased with my service and when in the area this will be the place to go.
